Good Support, Thin Enough For Dress Shoes
I bought several different brands at once, and these work best for my arches. The slim tech worked well in my dressier shoes, where some other insoles (including the Powerstep ProTech) raised my foot up too much and pressed the top of my foot against the inside of my shoe. The SlimTech insoles did not do that. The support is high and the slim feature allows for plenty of space in my shoe. These are not soft, so don't expect any extra cushion out of these. The underside is a hard plastic, with a mildly softer fabric finish on the upside. I actually like the firm insoles better, as I find they hold up my arches better. I plan to buy more of these. I also recommend the Birkenstock BirkoBalance insoles if you also need stability. Those are super hard, though, so they take a little while to get used to wearing, but definitely do the trick.

better walking
I didn't even realize I needed the support until advised by my podiatrist. It's hard to explain other than to say that my legs are less tired at the end of every day compared to before the inserts.

They keep my feet supported and happy!
This is the second time I am buying these. They keep my feet supported, and fit in every type of shoe I have used them in so far (not sandals, of course)! I keep a pair in each of my shoes that I usually wear, plus a spare pair for shoes I use only occasionally.

Great arch support, stay in place, but the heel takes up too much room
I have been searching for slim arch supports to use in my shoes that do not have removable insoles (Keds, womens dress shoes, etc). I tried several types including Spenco 3/4 length and Pedag 3/4 leather ultra-lite insoles. These were definitely the best! The bottom of the insole is hard plastic to maintain the shape, while the top has a soft foam layer for comfort. I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because they make my heel slip out of my shoes, since the heel area of the insole is fairly thick. I've tried them in several different pairs of shoes, and find they work best in shoes with very low heels (flat to 1/2 inch). I tried them in some shoes with slightly higher heels (1") and found that they did not provide the same support. I saw a few other reviews stating they did not stay in place in the shoe, but I had no trouble with this. They stayed put and did not slide.Pros:Great arch supportSlim, good for women's shoes (especially flats)Bottom has rubbery area that keeps it from slipping in shoeCons:Not for wide feetHeel of insole is slightly too thick, makes my heel lift out of some pairs of shoes

Highly recommended
Second time I've purchased these. The first time was years ago but I remember how they cleared up plantar fasciitis that was really painful. At the time I didn't have any medical insurance so I couldn't see a doctor. It was great to be cured without a prescription! Recently one of my heels became very sore. It felt like I got a stone bruise, maybe while walking the dog? I couldn't remember hurting my foot but it was so sore! It didn't clear up in a couple of weeks and I was hating to walk the dog because it just hurt. I remembered how well these inserts worked all those years ago and ordered another pair. One week later, no more heel pain. Doggie's happy, I'm happy, my foot is very happy. Highly recommended.

Only thing that has worked for me
I've been being treated for a Morton's neuroma for over a year and a half now. I've had the injection & trying to stave off having surgery. I've tried a few inserts & my surgeon recommended these. They work great and I've bought 4 pairs of them. Once in a while I get the symptoms for a short period, but for the most part, the inserts have kept the bulk of my weight off my toe area so the nerve is not being compressed. Would recommend if you have Morton neuroma

This orthotic is the best I have tried
This orthotic is the best I have tried, the other Powerstep have too high an arch for my feet, and are too thick in one's shoes, this one is just perfect, mild pronation and arch support, they are very comfortable yet do not give way due to their rigid support underneath, I use them in all my shoes as they are 3/4 and I do not have to take the sole from my shoes nor order a size up as I used to. I had severe knee problem with arthrosis and instability and now I can walk without any problem. Highly recommended, and I have tried everything.

They give really good support, they just push my feet out of ...
I got the inserts to wear my flats but they don't work so well with them. However, They give really good support, they just push my feet out of my shoe. While walking, I constantly feel the need to see if my foot is coming out of my shoe.I can't, in good conscious, recommend them for flats. The funny thing is, I can for sandals. Weird huh. I won't still looking for a supportive insert for my flats.
