Wow these held 15 lbs of sand easily each.I left the 5lb bags in the original packaging. No need to open and pour in. I used 2 and laid one each on each side of my umbrella stand. Kept my umbrella in place all summer. A wonderful idea, Thank you. JS

They work great and really durable but really big. I got a 50lb bag of pea gravel at Lowes and it took almost the all of it in just one bag. Just something to think about a 50lb sand bag is not easy to move.

My house is in a windy area. We typically lose 2-3 patio umbrellas each year when they blow over and break. These weighted bags are excellent at preventing this. The fabric has nice flexibility and can be wrapped around the top of an umbrella base. Water beads up and runs off, and dirt doesn't really stick to the fabric either. Totally worth the price.

The bags do their job well. The material is strong. However, one of the bags leaks sand so I don’t use it. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Well designed. Thick breathable fabric. Appearance far better than some other options and sized to enable you to move around as needed. Straps well attached and helpful in handling.I filled two with 50# sand each and two with 50# pea gravel. As photo shows, they work well to counterweight a 10’ x 13’ cantilever umbrella. Note, they can be positioned so they don’t obstruct access to the foot pedal latch on umbrella rotation.Others mentioned the openings leaking, I didn’t have that issue but could imagine some sand leakage at opening corners. In hindsight, all pea gravel would have been better.

Recieved quickly with Prime. Filled each with a bag of sand weighing 50lbs, very simple process. They're nice looking bags and easy enough to lift. No high winds yet but I'm hoping along with the water filled base and around 200lbs of sand in the bags they do the job. I also hope they survive the weather conditions in Colorado.

Super-fast shipping. Item was well-packaged and well-made. These weights were perfect to help hold down my inground pool cover where the pillows don't fit tight against the cover and the coping. I filled them with river rock and the sandbags were very rugged and have done a great job so far. It will definitely help in keeping the leaves out this winter and any other surprises.

turns very light grey quickly in the sun. but otherwise has held up. i dont move them, other than maybe once a year or less. but they arent broken. 6/10 maybe 7/10
