Artfelt Sheep Landscape Picture Felt kit, a Carefully Designed Craft kit to Make a Felted Picture with Tree and Birds

This was my first attempt at art felting but I am very disappointed. Instructions are not that clear and it doesn't tell you when or where to use the paste. I got as far as getting the tree in place but when I took out the curly green fleece to put on branches, it was nothing more than a tangled mess. It looks as I will be left with a bare tree. I don't think this kit is value for money.

Really great kit for beginners. My picture shows the basic without the sheep and birds which still need to be added. I particularly love the effects of the curly wool on the tree.

I bought this for my wife, and she was very happy with it. The instructions weren't too clear but the online assistance was fine, and she was very pleased with the finished product. So pleased in fact that she decided to frame it, which will cost far more than the product itself. Sigh....

This kit is perfect for the beginner like myself, I completed it whilst watching the video which was very useful. I did have a bit of problem with the actual felting process but I emailed the seller who replied very quickly and gave me great advice on where I had gone wrong and even gave me her phone number to speak to her if I was still having problems. I would thoroughly recommend this kit.

I've never tried wet felting before so this product looked like a good place to start. It was actually Stuart Hillard, the presenter from Create and Craft, who told me to try it. So far, I've watched the helpful demos on YouTube and just need the confidence to have a bash. The wool is so soft and a lovely texture. I'm nearly ready to take the plunge. Wish me luck!

A good introduction to felting - as long as you have access to the video the process is pretty clear. Also you can take all the wool off and start again on something else if you want to mess about - it holds on well but it's also not that hard to remove.

I was so impressed with this kit. Normally the materials in kits provide the absolute minimum required, with no room for error. This one is quite the opposite, there is lots left over to allow for mistakes and further projects. It's great for a beginner like myself and I was delighted with the outcome. The instructions both on paper and video on the website are excellent. I cant commend it enough. A great experience!

I really enjoyed making the felt picture. The tutorial video was easy to follow, even giving tips how to personalize it. I've included photos of finished item and the needle that comes with the kit (middle item).
