The drill set performed accurately and precisely saving much time and reducing risk of error in the critical precision placement of drill holes for hidden hinges.

Works ok but not high quality build. Handle the bits with finess. May need adjustments when using.

They say you get what you pay for … this is true in this case.Not sturdy, not hard enough outer “shell”.For home use - OK. For DIYers - nnnaaah.Find a better quality (and perhaps more expensive)

Makes life simpler

If you need a set of vix bits that you will rarely use, buy these. The quality is ok and, for a few uses, they should be fine. However, I imagine they will not last long. I needed a cheap set for a quick job and these fit the bill.

I'm afraid that whatever company that decided to make a "affordable" version of this tool, was unaware of how it is actually used. A vixbit is used to center the drill bit within a specific hole on a piece of hardware. These bits have a flat "tip" so if your hardware hole is the exact size of the "tip" then you may get the hole near the center. However, in practice this is rarely the case and often there are different size holes that you may want to use such as on slide hardware. A proper vixbit will have a slight taper at the tip to accommodate different size holes and to guide the vixbit to the center of the hardware hole. And frankly it will have a much tighter tolerance between the guide part, the "tip" and the actual drill bit. As is with this product there is a fair amount of slop so once the vixbit is in the hole you can still be off by, idk ~ 3/32 at times, which in practice can really move the piece of hardware out of alignment.I have not found a more "acceptable" vixbit yet, I'm just starting look. Perhaps when I do I'll link it here.UPDATE:So I after looking at the available options here, I think the bosch ones are the only ones I have confidence in. Ok il prezzo ma che 2 punte non escono nemmeno dalla sede mi sembra un po' una ciofega ..

Vanno bene ed il rapporto qualitá prezzo è ottimo; per funzionare bene vanno però tenute pulite dalla segatura e anche lubrificate altrimenti tendono a bloccarsi per i residui delle forature.

Looks like inner coil is a bit weak. likely stuck coz of debris. All the rest it does good

Out of the seven bits three of them were jammed and they get clogged up very quickly between the housing and drill bit. Also it would have been good if the housing was counter sinked.

L'utilizzo di queste punte autocentranti aiuta motolto nelle situazioni "dove non si può sbaglare".La fregatura è che spesso le punte non sono inserite nel centro di rotazione, le molle che fanno da spinta al cono esterno sono deboli e i coni non sono perfettamente dritti.Comunque sia sono sempre utili. Li ricomprerei.
