Will see how long the battery lasts but is good looking and the size is good. Being in one of the kids room I like the fact that it has a display showing live reading so you can now and again just glance at it without pressing buttons

These devices do exactly what is required of them. Hopefully the 10 year battery lasts as promised, I suspect they will due to a bit of clever design.I’ll explain and want to address some of the negative reviews.Firstly connecting to WiFi was a bit of a pain, primarily this is because it wants to connect to a 2.4ghz frequency. Most routers provide a 2.4 and 5ghz frequency which can confuse some devices. My router has the option to temporarily disable 5ghz to allow pairing of a 2.4ghz device. Once I did this I no issue pairing the alarm.I was worried that the alarm wasn’t reporting status in the app, after pressing the test button on the alarm my ping pinged immediately. I suspect the alarm only connects to WiFi when there is an event in order to preserve battery. This is a clever design choice and makes sense given that I only need to know when an alarm is triggered.In all, these seem worth the money, the CO readout on the front is useful.

Being in my 70s I had to get someone else to set it up for me not used it yet, will come into full use in winter

I'm always worried about smartphone connected devices. You never know how easy or difficult it will be.Fortunately this was easy.Open the instructions; scan the QR code to download the app and follow the instructions. Its a bit confusing because every step is written in multiple languages, but the instructions themselves are great.Took me about five minutes to set up.The on/off button is tricky to get to. I used a small flathead screwdriver to do this. Only when I completed the set up did I realise there was a small wooden tool - almost like a toothpick - to do this.Fortunately it hasn't gone off. That's usually a good sign. As long as it actually works

Great detector to use at home.Easy to use and its very accurate.Very long battery life and quite loud alarm.Price for it is good to.So I do recommend it to all.

The instructions seem to be for a smoke alarm, not a carbon monoxide detector, so while it may work as an alarm, it doesn’t seem to have any smart capabilities. I should have been suspicious on the 10 year battery life, Wi-Fi devices need a lot more power to run than standalone devices.Item returned.

Een handige melder die aangeeft dat de lucht in huis niet optimaal is. Met de wi-fi erin is het overal bij te houden, en indien nodig een raam open zetten.

Doet wat het moet doen, niet opgehangen maar op de kast gezet. Je kan hem zowel rechtzetten, als omhoog hangen met vijzen of een plaksysteem. Zeer handig!
