My daughter had dance recital coming up, she's 4 and this was her second recital, but the first one that required a "ballerina bun." I was never a girly girl so I was not sure I would be able to pull it off. This was just what I needed. It's small so it was just the size I needed for her very thin hair and the light color was easily covered by her hair. It is very easy to use and I had her hair complete in 5 minutes. Even though we only needed one, the 6pack was a great deal for the price and now we have backup or can share with cousins and friends as well. This literally saved the day.

I need to wear my hair back in a bun in connection with a job. My hair is fine and the length pictured. This size "bun booster" works well for me. I've found adult sized "bun boosters" are just a little too much- Both for my fine hair to cover the bun booster completely, and in terms of being able to wrap my hair around the donut enough times. This size allows me to pull hair through a total of three times and cover the "bun booster". I usually use a single bobby pin to secure the bun, but don't always have to. My only complaint with these is that the center seems to widen after a few months of use (2-3 times a month). When the center becomes too large, it becomes harder to completely cover the bun booster with my hair. If you don't know how to use these accessories, just Google "how do I use a donut bun" and you'll pull up plenty of videos showing you how it's done. Basically, I put my hair in a low pony tail, then put the "bun booster" around the pony tail, then wrap my hair around the donut a couple times and voilà ‐ Done! So quick and easy. Spray with some hairspray and my bun stays in place for hours and looks...bigger, but not too big. Comfortable enough can sleep with it in my hair. Gets the job done!

Worked well and easy to use. Makes a perfect little ballerina bun for my granddaughter. Recommend for price quality and ease in using.
