Slow in the beginning…very slow, but then it picks up speed
The first quarter of the book I found needlessly slow and tedious. This unlike Doherty’s previous books. Thereafter the pace picked up and the adventure began.

Totally Enthralling
Wow. What a novel. Everything about this story is just fantastic. The descriptive passages excellent and the whole storyline and plot just terrific. The story just takes hold of you and you just read on until the last page

A marvellous page turner a heart thumping read.Gordon has done it again blood betrayal and the return of a hero thought lost ,an utter masterpiece of a read ,could not put it down
