Update after 5 months:Not the device do not work properly. It has become very slow and do not cover the area of one room as well. Raised multiple complaints with MI, but they just keep saying parts ordered.Now its completely useless. They dont have any solution. Total money wasted and on top of that frustration.2 months usage:After 2 month of usage and It's getting frustrating.Before buying I saw many the reviews and youtube videos which all had info about saving map.Yes, this new model creates maps but do not remember for next task. There is no functionality for saving map. It uploads maps to server just to see cleaning history. Every time you start vaccume, it's a new home each time.Bettery life not sufficient for 2bhk. If u put it for 2bhk cleaning it will clean 70% and then go back to get charging (1 hr), then it will again start where it stopped. So total duration for vacuuming will be around 2.5 to 3 hrs. Then seperat time for mopping, as combined vaccume and mopping mode is useless.You have to make sure the physical restrictions are in place where the machine should not go, ex balcony, bathroom. 1st month will be big learning for you on what all thing should not be lying on floor so that machin do not get stuck ex. wires, threads, footmats.Combined mode will leave dust stains and dust line marks on floor which you have to clean separately.Overall it's usability is 30% and be sure on this before you buy. Dust compartment cleaning and water tank fill is preety easy however a frequent task for you. I was very tempted to buy and now have to live with it. No returns.Basically saving maps and mark restricted areas is a must to have functionality which is now removed. Don't know why. 😕

The media could not be loaded. Product is okay, moping and cleaning is also good. For 1 BHK it’s great choice in price of 10k brand like MI. But seems it sensor are working pro they detect even curtain as object. My last one Forbes was a warrior and hit every time on every object 😄😄. This robot is always in hurry to approach the charger hardly after 30 mins reboots its energy that is big problem. If you have small house it is recommended pretty good in his efficiency of cleaning and moping. But big no for a big house. I am happy with my purchase as it cleans effectively and moping too is great 👍 go for it

I had a malfunctioning robot at first which used to spin at the same place even if there are no objects. Turned out its one of thw wheeel was not fully functional at all times.However, Amazon like it usually does, easily replaced the product without any hassle.The Mopping function is average. Cannot be called a good mop. Sticked stains wont get washed off.Vacuum is great. I would suggest this product still for people having relatively open household without much obstructions.Still, I am satisfied with the vacuum part and hence rating it 4.Also Room mapping is not available in this version (Mop 2i). (The Lidar Version which is costlier has room mapping not this one.)Hence specific rooms cannot ve scheduled.It only has simple on and off cleaning mode and shows a map of the parts it has cleaned. Thats it, that map gets deleted after it completes cleaning.Overall, points to keep in mind before purchasing -1. Vacuum is perfect.2. Mop is average.3. No room mapping.4. Noise is average not too much.5. Remote control feature is available but Its better to just keep it on and let it do its thing.

The product description was telling we can save the map of home and can select each room to clean. But that feature is not there. Each time it is uploading the map to server but we can't use it again. Always it is a fresh start.Design issues :1. Model has only one rotating brush on one side, which will spill the dust particles to all other side which is not getting cleaned because of zig zag cleaning.2. In the Normal vaccum mode, dust is not getting cleaned completely even with running 2 times in same room3. If we use High vaccum mode, battery is not sufficient for 1 room vaccum itself.4. Mop is not touching the ground fully. Only sides getting touched properly and middle area is not getting cleaned.5. Charge is not happening properly even if I keep it overnight. Need to remove and charge multiple times to go to 100% charge.Totally waste for the money.Had bought iLife for home with lower price which was performing better in all of the above. Only went to Mi for map feature which is not there as advertised.

Now sure how to manage this . The product does not work after 3 month of use. Waste of money.

MI Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i is the worst one. When compared to MI Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop, they have reduced several features in this. Its not at all worth for the money. It does not have map/route tracking, it repeats the vacuum/mop area multiple times even if it is cleaned. It can not sense if the cleaning is completed or not, it will never stop on its own until the battery is low. It can not clean a particular spot. There is no different vacuum/mopping styles available. Mopping is done only with centre portion of the given cloth. It takes longer time for charging. Next version should have upgraded features and should be corrected with previous errors. But here everything is degraded. I have purchased the product and returned it. For those who planning to buy I would say instead of buying this can check with other brands with good features.
