Great value and perfect for 15 chicks
Overall one of the best value packages for baby chickens. Easy to clean. Supports 15 baby chicks easily. Roosting bars work from 2 weeks old.

Great brooder!
This works perfectly! We bought this set and a heat plate because it is safer than a bulb. Between the two, you really don’t need anything else aside from netting overtop to keep the chicks from flying out.

Worth it!
I wanted to give this product a 5 star rating but I cannot. The only reason is because I had an issue with a feeder nothing major but just don’t believe it can be used properly due to small issue. Luckily I have other attachments so I can replace and this set also came with a second feeder which was awesome! There were also no instructions but it was very easy to put together even without them! The pen is great for the price and fits perfectly on a large dog crate pan! I recommend for people that do not have a inclosed wooden brooder box! This is very easy and worth the price in my opinion!

Perfect Size for the First Few Weeks But …
Overall, well worth the price. What we got at the farm supply were too large for a brooder. I am using them now and the chicks are 5 weeks and in their run/hen house. These hold more than enough food and water for the first 4 weeks. At first, I took the lid off the feeders. They’re very light so when chicks got to 2 weeks, they kept tipping the feeders over and standing on the tops which led to poop in the food. The waterer was good but had to raise it or the bedding was always in it. Raising it on blocks of wood made it a tipping hazard when the girls jumped on it. Wet pine shavings smell awful! The one definite design flaw was getting the base onto the waterer, turning it over, and getting the pebbles in the trough quickly enough. Then, getting it all outside without spilling. The threads didn’t hold well and once I picked up the waterer from the brooder by the tank and the whole thing fell apart! ALWAYS HOLD BY THE TRAY!The perches have been great! Even if they tip over. The chicks are still liking them.

They sent an amphibian bulb
Basic set up, you'll have to trim plastic from the lip of the water container. The feeder trays are flimsy and cheap, and the bulb is for reptiles/ amphibians. Not worth $40. If I was not in a time crunch I would have sent it back.

Issues with the heat lamp.
This isn't that well made, but relatively inexpensive for what it is. My main issue is the heat lamp. After I turn it off, I'm constantly having to grab the bulb and screw it back into the right. The perch is mostly useless with quail, and I'd argue, a bit too big for chicks. The feeder for crumbles (etc.) is relatively cheap but easy to assemble. The waterer is too large in my opinion for chicks unless one adds stones to prevent drowning.Easy to assemble: 5 StarsEasy to clean: 4 StarsSturdiness: 1 Star

Perfect for Starters
For the size, I got 6 chicks and they have plenty of room! It came with two different ways to feed (always recommend the fountain at first), a water fountain, and a perch-although my chicks prefer their heat plate. It hold in shavings nicely and is sturdy!

Perfect
I really like this set up. The lamps are dimmable and more controlled for temperature. The feeders are easy to clean and the watered are perfect for the chicks. The chicks really enjoyed the perches as well. I highly recommend this purchase.
