First, I must say - I did not have a bad pest problem to begin with. That being said, one night I fell asleep in my chair and woke up with a nasty bite that looked like it was from a spider to me. I had an allergic reaction. That was all I needed to convince me to get serious about pest control in my individual little apartment. It probably was just 1 spider, but that was one too many for me. Also, at one point there was apparently one mouse. The exterminator came in a couple times and confirmed that it was not at all an infestation but there was definitely evidence of a mouse. I would only see the telltale signs every once in a while. Then I heard that if you leave your lights on all night, the mice will go away. So, that’s what I did. And it worked, but my electric bill went up considerably. So, I went with this particular ultrasonic pest controller based on good reviews and it’s middle of the road price. And, it’s doing a good job keeping the bigger pests away (in my case - the mouse & spider). I can now turn my lights out and my electric bill is more manageable. And I did NOT have the 3 day increase in pests when I first plugged them in that is predicted to sometimes occur. I think that only happens with bad infestations. BUT… now that summer is here - I have noticed those annoying gnats and fruit flies!! Tiny but SO persistent and aggravating!! They don’t seem to be the least bit affected by the ultrasonic waves. So, you can’t leave any food waste like banana peels in your waste basket or fresh fruit out on your counters, because they WILL come to stay!!

I must admit I was very skeptical about these units keeping the rats out of the house....but, so far so good! It has been about a month since we plugged these into the wall sockets. There is no evidence of rats entering again so far. We got these after finding 2 dying rats at the front of the house around a month ago, and a terrible odor coming from inside the walls that smelt like dead animal. We bought dead animal odor eliminator from Amazon, and that took care of that stench.Yesterday, the next door neighbor lady said her traps had killed 3 rats so far this week. The land lord is not providing pest control service, so we just have to do the best we can to keep them out of the house. These ultrasonic pest repeller units seem to be doing what is needed to keep them from entering the walls of the house.

Easy to plug in. And it has an extra plug on it which is nice. (I've read it takes a few weeks to work) so, I do not know if it is actually working yet. I still see a few ants. But very few.Rita

Bought these after seeing them in a beach house we stayed for vacation. These works amazingly! I put one in every room of the house and one in the outside shed. Haven’t seeen any bugs and there used to be a mouse in the shed I couldn’t get out. I haven’t seen it or any droppings. Canceled our treatments with Orkin.

So I purchased this item with skepticism. I have had a major fly problem in my house for a very long time. I’ve cleaned everything, I’ve sealed every possible way they could be getting in and still I’m killing between 10 and 25 Flies a day. Since I received these plug-ins, I have been seeing maybe 1 to 2 flies a week! I am finding it hard to believe that this works so well, but it does! Highly recommend!

It arrived in a simple compact package and was easy to install. Just plug it in and press the button for the light. Right away on the first day we noticed the fruit flies that gather around the lights disappeared. Then we noticed the ants starting to act weird about a week later. They came out in the open and wandered almost aimlessly and some of them even died off. Then a few days later they started getting less and less. It's been about three weeks and most of the bugs are gone. We originally bought this to ward off mosquitos since there seems to be an infestation next door from poor lawn management and puddles of water but our house has been free of them for the past couple weeks. Haven't been bitten since.

I’ve had these up for a good month in my garage and they do indeed keep the bugs away. I think the biggest indicator was no more spider webs after installing this unit and taking the original sider webs down.

I live in the country. During the spring and the fall whenever the outside temperature dips below 50 degrees or so, my house would be full of Asian lady beetles and stink bugs. Since I installed one of these in each room, I have not seen a single one. Well after about a week or so which is completely normal and expected according to the information in the product description.They definitely work for insects and arachnids. I'm not certain how they work on rodents yet. My garage usually sees many mice throughout the year. So much so that I have broken down and decided to use rodenticide instead of the more humane deterrents. The blocks I have spread throughout my garage have been going untouched for a bit now. It's hard to say if the ultrasonic waves are keeping them away or if the poison has done it's job.On the whole these are definitely worth the price. An excellent purchase. Especially if you're sick of vacuuming up dozens of dead lady beetles every week.
