Great cooling blankets
I bought two cooling blankets. One for my husband and myself and one for my son. Virginia summers are brutally humid. They are great quality, look and feel nice, and kept us cool all night long. Washing them is a breeze. They come with a bag for laundering. It keeps them from twisting in the washer and dryer. Very convenient. Great value.

Cold sheet style blanket
Love the blanket. Got it during prime day. It's great for summer. It really stays cold on both sides and is thinner then regular blanket but weighs heavier than a sheet. I actually bought several different styles from Amazon and this one we decided was a keeper. We also bought a thicker style cooling blanket but it isn't as cold. So depending if you like the thickness we kept one of each. The material is soft silky but seems to stay in place doesn't like slide off bed. The dog and I seem to fight over it compared to the big comforter so that must say something.I like as well that it has a washing bag and have already tried it in wash and holds up well. I did not do the drier though. I'd like to get some pillowcases in same material!

It has two layers of fabric
It does the job of keeping you cool. If you use a fan at night that will make it even more cool to the point it feels like you have a huge cool ice pack on your whole body. The fabric is nice and silky and keeps you cool but since there is two layers of fabric there and they're only held together by the edges they tend to get messed up. The edge of the blanket might end up in the middle of the blanket instead of the edge. I have found that this causes me to get tangled in it which is annoying. Overall I like the blanket, it seems to be decent quality and does what I need it to do I'm just not a fan of the fabric separating and moving around.

So soft!
It’s kinda silly but also not… hard to explain but I am in love with this blanket! I slept my first night w it last night and it was heavenly! I did not once get hot! Or too cold! If you’re someone who sleeps hot this is the best I’ve tried! Menopause is already uncomfortable enough! Thank you for this!

Cooling blanket
I love this blanket. It is smooth , silky to the feel, light and keeps you cool. It also is perfect to pull up when a sheet is not quite enough cover. I have washed it a couple times and it looks like new. Great quality and value for your money. I have a dog and great the dog hair does not stick to it which is a great plus for me.

it is truly cooling
I didn't think much of the "cooling effect" when my son asked for this blanket. In fact, I was very skeptical but still purchased it for him. Upon arrival, the blanket was so thin that I honestly though to return it. However, my son says it's the best blanket he has ever had. Here is what my teenager said (coming from a kid who hates writing essays :-)): "The cooling technology truly lives up to its claims. The first night I used it, I was amazed at how much cooler I felt compared to my usual blankets. It effectively wicks away moisture and keeps my body temperature regulated throughout the night. I no longer wake up feeling hot and sticky, which has drastically improved my sleep quality."He loves it and gives it solid 5 stars.

I don’t know
Definitely has a cooling feeling. However it does absorb your body heat so when you go still you loose the cool feeling. However it was light enough that I didn’t throw it off mid sleep because I got hot so there’s that.Biggest con: there is no stitching to keep top and bottom layer in place, which makes the blanket a big circle of fabric that rotates at will and doesn’t hold its shape. A few strategically placed stitches would have been great to keep its layers from moving as it’s slippery.

It does feel cooler!
Ok-I will start with this…I’m a texture person, so when I first opened it, I was like, “Ok. This feels weird. I don’t know if I can do this…” because it does NOT feel like a blanket I would choose to use. Then I sat in our very warm camper in front of a fan and I decided I would give it a try because it was hot in there! (Yes, we have an air conditioner, but it was STILL toasty.) I was like, “Hmmm…it does indeed feel cooler. I think I can get past the texture!” I now have purchased 4! Next camping trip I brought 2 with me. I ended up giving one to one adult daughter and let another use mine other one since their camper was hotter than ours… Both gave the same “I don’t know about this texture!” comment that I did the first time they felt it and looked very skeptical just as I did when I first opened the package. After using them, both daughters were like, “I gotta get me one of these! They really DO help!” As someone else stated- there are different ways to use them. The more textured side against your skin is cooler in my opinion. It does work better if the is SOME air conditioning and/or a fan. The blowing air or cooler air does help the blanket to cool better. Do NOT fold it or you don’t get that air movement that helps it cool better. I have tried it multiple ways- it alone (with both the smoother side against my skin and with the more textured side against my skin), it on top of a sheet, it under a sheet, it under another thin blanket. The COOLEST is alone with the textured side against my skin. Next would be flip it over and use the smooth side against my skin. (This is a double layer blanket, so it actually has TWO layers.) It also works with a sheet next to your skin if you can get past the texture. If it gets a little TOO cool, put the sheet on top…still a cooling effect but less so. I often START with my cooling blanket alone but end up cool in the night and add either a sheet or a thin blanket. You still get the cooling effect but again less so depending on the thickness of blanket or sheet you use with it.It is a kind of easily snagged material since it has a little stretch to it, so I am careful with it. (You probably would not want to use it with a dog or cat…) I wash it in cold water ALONE…and I do NOT dry it. I spread it out and let it air dry, so I haven’t had any problems with shrinkage. It is a “slippery” type of material with a little bit of weight to it, so if you get the biggest size, it is definitely a little more difficult to fold than a sheet or a throw…and if you don’t put it up pretty quickly, you may end up with it sliding into the floor…LOL. All in all, since I’ve purchased 3, it goes without saying that I do not regret my purchase!
