This replacement needle works fine and is a reasonable price. The delivery was quick, as I have come to expect for everything I have purchased on the Amazon website. Hearing my old records clicking away merrily on the turntable is music to my ears. You don't get that from DVDs or cassettes.

Great stylus for the price! A 'so and so' to fit though! Thought I might have wrecked the original on my cheapo (but good) Steepletone but managed to remove it and replace with the new; which works perfectly. You have to remove the whole head first (there's a lever of sorts); then you can prise off the old stylus. Couldn't find instructions on the internet and none of course come with the stylus. Ironically, I examined the old stylus under a microscope (40x is enough) and that looks fine too! Must be my imagination but the sound seems purer!WARNING! Mine is only suitable for 33 and 45rpm; there is only one stylus on the unit. My old one has a 78rpm stylus on the opposite side. Doesn't matter to me as I don't have any 78s but a 78rpm record could wreck a 33rpm stylus.

I bought this item after searching endlessly to find a stylus to fit my certain turntable. The item did arrive very fast (only 3 days) from ordering, however came in only a protective envelope, which would not sustain being crushed. However mine did arrive in excellent condition. Upon inserting the item, I found it was too big (lengthways) for the cartridge. However, my turntable is listed above in the description as being able to fit (Steepletone Carlisle E156). Instead of sending it back, I tried to cut it down to size, using my old stylus as a guide. It now fits and is playing records as if it were a brand new turnable. But beware of unscheduled DIY work on the new stylus if you do buy it. Conversely, the records are playing crystal clear, but as it is brand new, I cannot comment on how many hours the needle will play.

I just received the replacement stylus needle and had it delivered on Sunday 25th May through Amazon Prime and at first I was a bit skeptical thinking this won't fit my Steepletone ST926 vinyl player and after a little while of trying to replace my old broken oneit fit perfectly flush with the reader head.I just tested this new stylus out while playing Michael Jackson's Thriller and the sound is perfect.I would definitely buy more in the upcoming months to come.

Outstanding speedy delivery and a amazing product aswell I played a few of my vinyls on my old stylus and then changed to this one I bought and it was 100 times better than before so much clearer and louder

working fine at first then it wore off in 3 months.

The quality of my old 45s and 331/3s ( ask your dad) was faiding . Then I realised that I had used the same Stylus for years. The new one arrived in 24 hours , carefully packed and hey presto clear stereo sound once more. My very old LPs sound like new.Worth every penny.

Bought as a replacement stylus for the Steepletone ST929A as was advertised to be bought alongside the record player on Amazon as the replacement stylus. Not only is the stylus that came metal, rather than plastic as the picture displays, but does not fit my record player - and I have tried very hard to force it on. Very disappointing.
