Works good. Keeps the wetness from my stands

I haven’t used them yet but they are what I expected.

The black surface was smooth. A previous order had a texture to it so the plants wouldn’t slide.

Hard to find cork plant coasters. The bottom is a thin layer of smooth plastic. Won't damage the surface it is sitting on.

These cork plant coasters are nice to put planters on to protect surfaces from dirt and water. I find them to be rather thin and because of that not able to absorb much. They are best suited for indoor use.

These plant coasters provide excellent surface protection against scratches. I would not call them great at absorbing excess water. That's not really their intended purpose. They work very well if your goal is to protect surfaces. We like them enough to recommend them and order another set for our upstairs plants.

The cork mats are good to put under your pots if you're trying to prevent scratches on your furniture or floor. But don't expect them to absorb any water. Cork cells contain suberin, a natural fatty substance that makes it waterproof. I put drops of water on this cork mat and 10 minutes later, the drops are still there.But if you drain your plants in the sink when you water them and them place the already drained plants on this mat, it will still protect your furniture. I got these mats just for that. I have some smaller pots that do have drain holes but I water the plants in my kitchen sink. After they drain, I set them on this mat. They serve my purpose to protect my furniture from scratches.
