Really interesting deck of cards
These cards would be helpful for people who have a hard time with identifying emotions or wish to learn about them more deeply. The cards have photos that depict scenes showing 60 different “feeling” photos and on the back there are emotion words these photos are supposed to remind the viewer of. The different emotions are color coded into groups too. There are also some cards in the set that give some exercises that can be done with the cards to work with individuals or groups. There’s an instruction book that gives some good information. The set is printed on very nice heavy weight matte cardstock. The cards are of excellent quality and the box they are in is well made to store them. This set can be used alone or with other people to help work out feelings and understand ourselves more deeply. People who have suffered traumas, who are on the spectrum, couples trying to understand each other, even children might find ways to use the cards to expand their knowledge and understanding of emotions both within and of each other. I had some difficulties learning about emotions from childhood, and plan to use these to help understand myself better. These are good quality cards that should hold up to a lot of use. Very nice.

Very nice. Better than expected.
So, I ended up not using these as much as my colleague does, because I work with a lot of children and the words are a bit beyond them. I have, however, sorted out the more basic emotions to do things with pre-teens and teens. The cards are VERY nice and in a cool box. There are some "methods" cards that give ideas, but also this could be an interpretive exercise that allows for perspective exploration.I think the price point is very reasonable considering that many therapy brands charge excessive prices because it's considered "therapeutic" - annoying.I think the cards will last a long time and think they were a good purchase.

Colorful, Innovative Cards
I am grateful to have found these 60 colorful emotions cards with images, 8 uplifting management cards, and simple booklet. These cards are on smooth, heavy card stock. I think these would be useful for those who suffer from a dysfunctional background in which their feelings were denied or minimized. A main question this asks is “How do you feel?” Many of us do not regularly ask ourselves this. We are out of practice. Having a strong intellect, I could use these cards to help identify and zero in on my emotions. Self-awareness is key. The management cards are gentle and helpful, too. One area I was confused about was the color coding and hierarchy of pleasant and unpleasant emotions based upon energy. I have a background in psychology and have not seen cards like this before. I find them innovative and delightful.

I use these as a early education teacher, not with my kids but for pre-work reference
These help me hold a vision on the various feelings one can have, helping my students to express their feelings. I have learned, though, that the cards aren't too helpful when used with kids: they hear the word and look at the card, fixing their attention on the activity (schoolwork = boredom!!!).So, instead, I refer to the card when I, myself, am puzzled about what could be going on and how I can help the student. The photos are sometimes used in other applications: creative writing, visualization, and picture-looking.

Easy to use tool to talk about feelings/perceptions.
Very excited to see a cool tool like this. I work in the mental health field and love finding new ways to engage folks in conversations about their feelings and perceptions. Please know that you do not need to be a professional to use and learn with these emotion cards. They come with great instructions and full detail at the back of each card to prompt conversation. This is such an easy and non-confrontational way to talk about feelings. The cards at thick and printed well. I believe they will hold up to a lot of use. They come in a sturdy storage box. Great find!!

Cards and emotions don’t line up much
I wanted to like these cards more than I did. Our family ended up getting quite a few laughs out of many of them because the picture did not match up with the emotional description well for many of them. Cute idea though.

Parents should have a set!
These are more like plastic tiles than cards. They have some flexibility but seem more plastic than anything. The colors are brilliant and sharp! The color codes and emotions reflected in the images create opportunities for discovery and discussions. Not just reserved for therapist but can be effectively used in the home between couples and with children. If you live under a common roof with someone else you should consider the benefits of having a set of cards like these. For the therapist, it's a no brainer- you probably already have a set. These are sturdy, well made and should last years! Maybe generations! These are great and I like them.
