For example, a cheap RCA to USB adapter will result in less quality, so make sure you choose wisely when picking one. Or, use an actual Security DVR.Secondly, if you plan to extend the wire yourself using a 4 conductor wire, make sure you wire it correctly so that all of the wires are in line with one another and won't have 12 volts (red wire) going into the black or yellow wires. The 12v power can cause the device to break if sent through the wrong wire. Best case, you end up with lines running across the screen like you see in the above image.That said, for its size it's not bad at all. And, I will end up buying them again to replace the ones that went out on me due to my wiring mistake.
