Plastilys Live Bait Bucket + Basket + Integrated Aerator 7L

No instructions come with this item, however, it is fairly easy to work out what is what. It initially appears to be of fairly robust design and material. There are a few design issues I feel as follows: 1) the fitting that comes off the air pump for the airline and the hole that the airline feeds through in to the mesh inner 'bucket' are very tight within a recess and hence the airline partly 'pinches'. 2) the air pump is fairly noisy. I appreciate that any item designed with moving parts is going to have some element of noise associated with it but I would say that this is one of the noisiest pumps that I have ever experienced both in live bait pumps and additionally those used in the aquarist hobby (I have been doing both now for 40 years plus). 3) the design of the inner 'mesh' insert bucket that enables you to lift your chosen livebait clear of the water and the external bucket means that you could not really carry/transport livebait easily in a vehicle with it without expecting water loss - there is no form of seal around the two. Please note that this review is based on first impressions and I have not had the opportunity to actually use it yet. I will update this review once I have done so to ensure that it is accurate and fair once field tested.
