Nice and as expected. Family loves it!
New to air fryer arena. It came with nice instruction, small cook book and looks and feels nice. Since purchased, I have been using it to air fry frozen items that have "enough" oil in it such as french fries without additional oil and came out nice. First time, air fried diced up raw boneless chicken breast without any oil and it came out really nice and was delicious when dipped/ tossed with BBQ and General Tso sauce (link below).Preset options are great and I am still trying to figure out temp/ time combination for the things I like to air fry. I currently have many items in plan to marinate and try.I received it on Jul 22, 2018 and have been using it pretty much every day and so far, the inner pan doesn't show any wear as other reviewers posted. Hopefully it stays that way. I will post an update later as I get more experience and usage. One thing I can say is that, this can cook food in healthy way but you can do so much if you want to go the other way! And it does only require little oil. I'm was impressed! Simply use little spray of olive oil and comes out nice.Minor's Sauce, General Tso, 5.2 lb - I love this sauce!

Love this Elite Platinum Digital Air Fryer!
After reading multiple reviews, decided to purchase an air fryer with the highest capacity (5.5 Qt) and largest basket while still at a reasonable price. I believe $78.33 ($80.21 Prime price - $1.88 instant coupon savings) is a super reasonable price for this 4.5-star-reviewed item. Even though I intentionally purchased a larger air fryer, I admit to being surprised when I saw how big the box was upon delivery (2 days to San Diego). I immediately washed the "drawer pan" and easily detachable "frying basket" (see more on this, below) and made my first attempt at air-frying (my brother's girlfriend's) homemade lumpia, which were frozen. After experimenting with both temperature and time, we figured out that 1 layer of lumpia cooked best at 375 degrees x 15 minutes. [The frozen homemade lumpia I used were ~1" x 5" in dimension for the regular lumpia and ~2-2.5" x 4-5" for lumpia-filling stuffed in jalapeno peppers. I could easily fit 8 regular lumpia + 4 jalapeno lumpia in a single layer.] We put on a separate timer on @ 8 minutes so that we could turn the lumpia over about half-way. I easily pulled the drawer pan out, which automatically stops the timer, to turn the lumpia, then easily pushed it back into the appliance, which automatically restarts the internal timer. (One improvement I suggest is for the manufacturer to include a visible internal countdown timer, so you'll know how minutes of cooking time has elapsed and how long it will be until cooking is completed. Currently, you have to rely on a separate, external timer if you want to turn food over at the half-way point, which is recommended.) The lumpia came out browned and crispy on the outside, and hot and thoroughly cooked on the inside. A minimal amount of fat from the meat filling was captured in the drawer pan, as designed.I also purchased an 8" accessory kit (MySit Big Large XL Air Fryer Accessories 8", Set of 9, for Power Airfryer XL Gowise Phillips Cozyna, Fit All 5.3QT - 5.8QT - AirFryer_8in for $28.82), and I'm glad I did. We were able to make from scratch, homemade Chile Rellenos, which we cooked in the 8" round Cake Barrel, and they came out PERFECTLY. Since these were fresh (not frozen), we cooked these at 360 degrees x 10 minutes, again, turning them half-way through, and they came out perfect. In fact, my husband swears they are the best chile rellenos he's ever had. We look forward to cooking a lot of different foods in our new air fryer. The included cookbook is nice, but you can easily find lots of air fryer recipes online.Though minimal, I carefully read through the negative (1- and 2-star) reviews. While this air fryer comes with a 1-year warranty, to be safe, I also purchased a SquareTrade 4-yr Small Appliance Protection Plan for $6.05, which also seems amazingly reasonable, given the total cost for this large air fryer is <$90. The Drawer Pan and Frying Basket, as well as the 8" round Cake Barrel (accessory), were all easy to clean. We washed them using the soft side of our dish-cleaning sponge in order to protect against peeling of the teflon coating. An initial mild order (probably the processing coating on the teflon drawer and basket) was not off-putting and discontinued by the time we finished preheating the air fryer (360 degrees x 3 min).Bottom line, this Elite Platinum Digital Air Fryer is easy to use, has plenty of room to cook for an entire family, is super easy to use, and produces crispy, tasty, well-cooked foods without the mess, inconvenience and environmentally fraught (disposal of used oil) of deep fat frying. Since it's essentially a small, contained convection oven, we plan to use it to reheat foods, cook other frozen (non-deep-fryable) foods, and to cook other items, making it an even better value. (I can't wait to try baking a cake using the accessory 8" cake barrel!)The only negatives I can think of at this point are the lack of a countdown timer (as described above) and how much space it takes up on our counter. That said, I have a feeling we'll be using it a lot, so I wouldn't want to put it away (even if I had space to store it, which I don't).I highly recommend this product, and also recommend purchasing an accessory kit and protection plan with it. We love it!

Awesome product! 100% recommend!!
I love this air fryer! I decided to buy an air fryer after my deep fryer died on me. I had heard such great things about air fryers, so I figured I would give this one a shot. This air fryer quickly became my most used appliance (other than my coffee maker. Ha!). Originally I bought it to replace my deep fryer which I used to make French fries, onion rings, fish, etc. I soon learned that I could use the air fryer to make many more things. It is especially useful for making food for my kids! I can easily make frozen chicken nuggets or fish sticks much faster than I would be able to in the oven, and they come out crispy and more evenly cooked. Plus, it is SO EASY to clean! It’s all nonstick, and it truly doesn’t need any scrubbing.I recommend this fryer 100% (and I’m pretty sure my friends and family are sick of hearing me talk about how great it is)

It's large.
The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is because it's a little messy to clean and it's also very bulky. It's larger than my kuerig coffee machine. This airfryer is the only airfryer I've ever bought and I love it. Ofcourse I did my research before even buying it but I went with this one because I wanted to fit enough food for me and my husband. So far it fits 3lbs of chicken legs and thighs. I'm able to fit about 20 wings and cook them at 400 for 15 mins and they come out really crispy. We have cooked pork chops and steaks. They come out quite juicy too. I don't know why I didn't get an air fryer before now. Worth it!
