seemed flimsy on first acquaintance, but did the job
This little tool proved invaluable when repointing fairly narrow gaps in brickwork. Though it seemed a bit flimsy on first unwrapping, it survived 5 days of continuous use unscathed. The narrow end is particularly effective in compacting mortar in deep and narrow gaps, to give a complete and well compacted fill. The small trowel is good for smoothing surfaces of larger gaps, to leave a good finish, whilast a bucket trowel proved ideal for rebedding topping bricks onto a bed of mortar to seal the top of the wall, Thoroughly recommended for any small repointing jobs.

Better than expected
This was a warehouse return, so paid a fraction of the already great price and it as in mint condition, no signs of use or package tampering.OK, so I wasn't expecting much as it's only a few quid. BUT it does the job for getting into tight corners that a tuck pointer from leading brands (MT, Rag etc) won't.I've bought loads of tool brands from just about every brand including Makita, Dewalt etc. If it's something I'm planning on using regularly, I'd spend the extra, but this is surprisingly good and way better than some other reviews describe it.I'm using it for plastering, I see others use it for soil!

Received as if it had been chopping sticks or had been chewed by a dog
Its a small tool, only a fiver... I wouldnt be bothered really if this was, say, electrical and it wouldnt work, or, if it was a ornament and you could see that it had been chipped cracked in transport, because sometimes, thats the way it goes! What annoys me though is someone has physically put this absolute monstrosity in a bubble wrap back, taped it up and sent it... What annoys me is how this got out of the factory in the first place... Look at it, I've seen stone age spears with more defined flint blades then this things got! :DSo yes, I am annoyed, I also understand people hate their job, because if they had an ounce of giving a s***, this wouldnt of been sent to me, they would of chucked it and put a different one in, and, I understand this is just chinese rubbish, the advertised specs, we all know it's a load of bull, but how on earth this got through anything... I'm none the wiser! So yeah... But cheap, get cheap... Just bought a ragni one now, few quid more expensive, but I imagine they keep their products away from bored dogs! :D
