ESR for iPad Pro 11 Inch Case M4
Purchased as a temporary replacement for Zugu case which was not available for the latest 11" iPad Pro. Besides protection, my first and foremost desire was the number of standing angles. Zugu has 8 angles limited to landscape only. This ESR has 9, PLUS a portrait feature which can also be placed in 9 different angles. My 11" iPad Pro M4 fits the case perfectly. All angles are held in place securely by magnets, and do not slip out of place. A previous case I had with 4 slots in front, any slight movement would cause the backer to slip out of the slot, and the iPad would fall flat. Maddening! I weighed this and my Zugu case both on two different digital scales resulting in only a gram or two difference. ESR case weighed in at 1lb 1 1/4oz (17 1/4 oz) or 492g compared to 13 1/4 oz or 379g of the Zugu. They're both heavy, and I really dont notice the difference in weight between the two. Some reviewers show a video placing the iPad in the raised portrait position and are afraid of the ipad flopping back. Placed in the top position I can confidently rock it back and forth with no fear of it falling back. Short of not paying attention or reaching over and something catching the top of the iPad to knock it down, I personally can't see it falling over. As for the apple pencil, mine from the previous model doesn't work with the M4. I did place it in the slot of the ESR, and whereas the slot in the Zugu is deeper and more secure, I would not feel confident in keeping the pencil in the ESR slot, and at some point not expecting it to fall out. There is a pocket in the back for a more secure location, and no, it does not impede or stick out such that it blocks the camera. I cant speak to the chargeability of the apple pencil while in the top slot. A reviwer stated the protection around the speakers isnt very good. True, but the Zugu isnt much better.Customer Support: I noticed that the wake/sleep function was inoperable. While still within the return window I thought to contact customer support first. A disclaimer of high volume would delay a response for 48 hrs. I contacted on Friday night, and to my surprise, I had a response Saturday morning. Zoe suggested I attempt to change settings first. (I had no idea there was a function to turn the wake/sleep on and off). Zoe from Customer Support provided simple instructions, and stated If settings change did not correct it, then I should provide a video showing the problem, another case would be sent, and there would be no need to return the faulty one. Thankfully it worked! Prompt, courteous, and a solution if not rectified. So reading other reviews I nontheless pre-ordered a Zugu case. A day later, i recieved this ESR. A week later I realized I like this more than the Zugu. Longevity of the case is yet to be determined as is protection of iPad if dropped. While I have dropped iPad on laminated floor with the Zugu and recieved no damage, I cant say for the ESR. After almost a year and a half, the Zugu case I have on my 6th gen 12.9" iPad is falling apart. The cover is separating, and and pieces of metal have been falling out of it. I am seriously considering an ESR case to replace it. The Zugu materials do seem a bit sturdier and refined. I let a reviewer sway me in the direction of the Zugu, and I was a bit biased anyway since I owned one. The felt lined interior of the Zugu, to me, is a non-player, but still, suggests better quality, even if insignificant. Still, had I known then what I know now, I wouldnt have spent more money on the Zugu pre-order.Besides the top pencil slot, the only other con about the ESR case, is charging the iPad while in portrait mode. I use a USB Multiport adapter to connect my wireless mouse while charging at the same time. It's a bit bulky. The magnets are very good at securing the ipad in portrait mode when charging port is at the bottom. Not so when flipping it around where the charging port is at the top. It still holds in place, however it's not as secure. Obviously it's designed for the charging port an the bottom position while in portrait configuration. The functionality of this case is tops; no one comes close. Quality is very good and a great value for the money. Finally, customer support is excellent. I definitely recommend this case!

Absolutely Love!
I love everything about this case! I like that it comes with a case that snaps on the ipad itself (like a phone case), then that can magnetically fit into the folio. When at home, I just use the case and then when I travel I put it in the folio part. The stand and notches work great and feel sturdy, making it easy to watch a show on an airplane. Since you can put the ipad in the folio which ever way - if you like the apple pen to be on the side to charge you can put it in so the pen sticks out the top or you can slide the pin in the holder on the folio (it won't charge there, but its great for backpack travel so you don't lose the pen).I love the color with it looking like a nice warm leather. It doesn't show oils and is easy to keep clean. I have had this for a couple of years and haven't ever had the urge to replace it. As far as wear on it - I don't use the folio part, except for travel, so it is practically still new - and the case part looks like I just got it, even though I interact with that on a daily basis.

Great viewing angles!
As a student, I frequently use my iPad for reading, note-taking, and watching videos. This review of the ESR Removable Magnetic Case is based on these uses. The case offers a mix of benefits and drawbacks, and its suitability varies depending on the usage scenario.Cons:One significant downside is the lack of protection for the Apple Pencil. Traditional cases often include a dedicated protector, ensuring the pencil stays securely attached even when the iPad is tossed into a bag. Despite using a separate carrier, I’ve found that the pencil can still detach from the iPad in this case. The provided slot on the back for the pencil doesn’t offer the level of security I expected. This aspect is my primary concern with the case.Additionally, I’ve encountered some difficulty with the flap at the back of the case. When attempting to adjust it to fit into a stand or nook, I sometimes accidentally detach the case from the iPad due to its magnetic design. This can be frustrating, particularly when trying to set up the iPad for use quickly.Pros:On a positive note, this case excels in its adjustable viewing angles. Unlike traditional Smart Folio cases, which can wear down and offer less stable viewing positions over time, this case remains sturdy and allows for precise angle adjustments. This feature is particularly beneficial for my diverse usage needs as a student. The strength of the magnets on the back is also commendable. They are robust enough to hold the iPad securely, which often makes me forget that the case is only attached magnetically. The dual settings for display angles at the back of the case are another plus. They provide considerable flexibility in adjusting the iPad for optimal viewing, whether I’m reading, writing, or watching videos. The rigidity and stability when fitting the iPad into these positions are noteworthy. Conclusion:In summary, the ESR Removable Magnetic Case is a mixed bag. For stationary, at-home use, it’s fantastic, offering excellent viewing flexibility and a strong magnetic hold. However, its portability is hindered by the inadequate protection for the Apple Pencil and some issues with the flap mechanism. Potential buyers should weigh these factors based on their specific needs
