Early review - Works Great! Great Size. - Latest review not so much.
>>>SEE LATEST UPDATE AT BOTTOM<<<Was packaged well. Comes in a nice illustrated box complete with a instruction booklet (gives good info on power sources etc.).Photo 1 shows the kettle next to a 16oz. Chinet cup.Photo 2 shows the kettle with lid removed on top on an old iPad 1 casePhoto 3 shows the kettle with a 500 ml / 15.9 OZ water bottle with water in kettle (note: plenty of room left for more water)The kettle brought room temperature water to a full boil in 2:59 (2 minutes, 59 seconds), and automatically shut of at 3:15 (3 minutes 15 seconds). Note: This was on 120V setting.I have a trip coming up where I'll be able to test the 240V setting and will update review on that. Some have mentioned the switch on the handle. I agree it looks like it could be "the weak link", however, if packaged wisely, I don't see that being an issue. I travel frequently, so I'll up date this review after some good use.So initially, overall I'm happy with what I got. 4 Stars. If it performs well over time I'll give it another star.UPDATE MAY 2019: I have now used it in Australia = 240 voltage. I simply switched the voltage on the kettle to 240 (using butter knife, very easy). Attached an adapter, not a voltage convertor, to fit the outlet, and worked great. Entire boil cycle to shut off for 16 oz. of room temperature water was 2:50 (2 minutes 50 seconds). So I added the 5th star know it works on both voltage settings and performs great!>>>Update JUN 9 2019: <<< Darn! I'm now getting a problem. I flip the switch, it seems to be working normally, but then it cuts the power intermittently. It doesn't trip the switch to the off position. It will turn off, then after maybe 20 seconds os so start heating up again. It will eventually boil, but it takes much more time now and is inconsistent. It seems to me this might be some kind of malfunction with a safety fuse maybe. Anyway, have to downgrade my star raring on this issue.

6 months, then it burned up
The good: all steel interior, easy to pack and travel with. The bad: the cord is very flimsy, and I'm surprised that they want the required wattage to travel through that. The NTK-007 is a better size, and came with a much more insulated & durable cord, but it is very difficult to come by. The auto-shutoff appears to only work if the plastic lid is on to capture the steam and heat up an actuator that trips the auto-off.The ugly: after 6 months it stunk my entire apartment up with electrical burn smell. I fear that if I use it again that it will truly catch fire.
