Outstanding quality for a reasonable price... it can be done!
This is an excellent journal! I can hardly believe it was only $7. It even has numbered pages, a back pocket, and two sturdy ribbon markers. There are no loose thread ends in any of the signature stitches. It makes me wonder if it’s hand bound. All the edges on the cover are impeccably turned and the end papers are glued tight with no lifting or air pockets whatsoever and no sign of glue. The embossed logo on the cover is subtle and classy-looking and the leather embossing looks very realistic. The dots in the grid are just the right size and darkness for me and they seem to line up closely across the spread. The paper is off-white — maybe ivory — and it’s a nice weight and smoothness. I included a pen test that shows no bleed thru and minimal ghosting for these pens. It actually shows more ghosting in the photo than in person. It has no pen loop but neither do many high-end journals. It’s hard to provide a pen loop that works with all pens so it’s probably best to let the user work that out.My only complaints:The card stock title page (with a bookplate imprint) is glued to a normal weight second page 1/4” from the spine. This makes the binding more secure, but it also makes it so the second page can’t lie flat. Right after that is a 2 page (back to back) printed index. That means I can’t draw my own title page before the index. I’m not a fan of this index layout anyway. It doesn’t even say “Index” at the top (maybe I’m too picky.) I prefer 2 equal size columns and no separate column for the page number (I put the page number right after the entry). Not a huge deal. I will probably cut out the index page and turn the first two pages into a folder pocket (might do the same with the same two pages at the back). Then I will start with my own title page on the first dot grid page followed by my index... with a title on it!!!Another minor issue was that the cover felt kind of rubbery. But I have either gotten used to it or it wore off. I wouldn’t mention it, but in case it bothers anyone else, just give it some time.I always try to judge quality against price. This journal scores high in workmanship, attention to detail, and paper quality without being overpriced. So in spite of the index and title page issue, I have no reservations about giving it 5 stars.

A journal that is practical, beautiful, high-quality and inspires writing.
Another 5-star review for this lovely classic notebook journal. I got the red with dotted paper and I adore it. I'm not sure yet what I'll use it for. I just love journals. And this one is truly high-quality, at an extremely affordable price, far better than the Moleskines I've had in the past and it even compares well to my Italian-hand-made journals, except for the thickness of paper. I find the paper on this to be medium thickness. It's not your flaky super thin paper and it's not the thick heavy paper either. I've used a number of ball-point pens and no bleeding through. My favorites about the UNNI:** The paper is smooth, feels good to the touch, and no bleeding through.** The cover is soft and high-quality. Nice to the touch.**The size is perfect for throwing in your bag, taking it with you everywhere, keeping at your desk, taking it to bed to write.**The weight is light even though it's a durable high-quality notebook. My other thick Italian journal takes some effort to carry around.**The binding is very nice, lovely threads, 12 dots across the spine of the notebook, very well-stitched.**The price is excellent. I should've bought two ;)!**The quality is high and I'm not one to flatter low- or medium- quality just to be nice. In fact, I can't stand cheap notebooks. This notebook INSPIRES writing.Love LOVE this notebook and will be buying more for myself and gifting it to my clients.

Perfect Notebook for Organizing My Thoughts
This journal has a great build quality, with thick pages that handle ink well without bleeding. The minimalist design keeps me focused on my writing, and it’s the perfect size for carrying around the city. Great for anyone who loves putting pen to paper.

Perfect for my first bullet journal
I was searching for a good notebook to start my first bullet journal in. I initially bought a cheap notebook but found the pages too thin. But then I stumbled across this 100 gsm thicck notebook, and it was the one!Things I like about this little notebook:-decently thick pages that my gel pens won't bleed through (some minor ghosting though)-good quality at a good price!-pages lay flat-soft faux leather cover that is nice to the touch-smooth, both inside and out-a little pocket in the back waiting to be filled-an attached ribbon bookmark!I ordered the yellow dotted hardcover notebook. I am very pleased with the warm golden orangey yellow shade, it's very beautiful and not too poppy. I was also debating between blank or dotted, being worried that the dots would be too noticeable. I went with the dots to make my life easier. And, to my pleasant surprise, the dots are a subtle light grey!Another disproved worry that I had was that the notebook would be too heavy. But, for a hardcover notebook, it's pretty light! It measures to be about 392 g.My only complaint is that the cover strap thing seems a bit unecessary with the hardcover, since the notebook already closes flat. The elastic strap also made some imprints on the faux leather cover. But other than that, this notebook is a real looker!

Bonitas y funcionales
