Strong and sturdy
Love this stencil teally useful for drawing eye shapes and small faces. Really cheap price. What I love is it also has markings for every quarter of each size marked around the edge of each stencil shapeONLY cons is would love it a bit more varied so maybe a few tiny a a few small a few medium a few large. And maybe 2 extra large oval stencils as it’s a bit limited as it obviously goes up in accruements. Rather than just as going up say in 3s before jumping a few accruements to a significant larger size after say every 3 ovals. I think it would of been a lot more useful to the kind of drawings I do. But it is a really good stencil for accurate gradual bigger or smaller ovals.

Ideal for artwork
Bought these to use in adult colouring books to create interesting backgrounds for coloured pages. Also bought the circles template separately in this series. They're all made from bendy plastic (can almost fold the templates in half without breaking). They are just under 20cm in length, but the 'ruler' markings in cm and mm along the top are strangely printed on the underside, back to front, so if you want to read the ruler correctly you're reading it from a faded appearance at the top, if that makes sense. That's my only criticism though, otherwise these templates are a welcome addition to my collection of art materials and offer shapes of many sizes, which will be good to use in those colouring backgrounds.

What goes around...
Nice, inexpensive stencil for drawing circles. It seems decent enough and is flexible enough to not crack readily. It is a godsend if you've not got a compass handy for smaller sizes circles but it isn't always easy to line them up accurately such as when drawing an equidistant smaller circle inside a larger one. I think it would be improved if it had more markings on the stencil to aid with alignment and I perhaps would have preferred a lighter or more transparent tone of plastic instead of the orange. It looks kinda nice though. All in all, not bad but I still keep a compass handy.

Decent beginner's set
These curves would be twice as good (and earn five stars) if they had an ink rebate on both sides. As it is: not a professional item but nicely finished at an attractive price. Applying several layers of masking tape to the underside will sort them out if you're using a technical pen like an Isograph, so it's not as if it's an insurmountable problem - and anyone who is using pencils or fineliners shouldn't have any problems. The ellipse cut-outs will either be a bonus or an annoyance depending on whether you're the sort of person who has amassed a pile of such templates ... either way they're not a problem.

Good but not the greatest usability
Overall quality of this product is fine in terms of materials etc. It's just that the usability isn't great. These types of templates aren't the easiest to use when adding shapes to an existing technical drawing as the centre-lines on each circle shape aren't easy to see and to line up with a drawing. Usability in this respect was increased enormously after I'd used a sharp-pointed felt-tip pen to define each circle centre-line. Overall, a reasonable quality product but for the price, the usability 'out of the bax' isn't great.

So simple but works beautifully
I needed to trim a length of picture rail to fit under the lip of a curve of a cabinet. I tried all sorts of methods of creating a template, cardboard, tape, etc., but they were all pretty lame. Not sure how I came across this. as I am not a handyman or draftsman by any stretch of the imagination and had never heard of French curves (in carpentry terms anyway) and decided to give it a try.As you can see, it matches the curve of the cabinet top easily and will make creating a template a breeze.

Different colour but excellent quality
Great quality; 1-2mm thick and flexible but do not feel cheap. Ruler along one side, doesn't rub off with your thumb, durable and decent to handle.Packaging leaves a little to be desired, it comes in a plastic wallet sellotaped at one side and looks like it was designed circa 1992. Definitely not the prettiest or most eco-friendly, but does cover the product itself so shouldn't complain. The smaller shapes are just a little small for me once you get your pen in, and I would love to find a stencil that does shapes 2-3 times larger than these, but there are a nice selection here: equilateral triangles, squares, pentagons, hexagons. Nice size labels next to each shape.Loses a star for a combination of the packaging AND the poor images. Mine is bright orange, not the blue in the tiny image, and it's a shame as I'd have preferred a blue. Still a useful tool though. I use these in my graphic design and art work.

Good stencils
Went on a course that asked for an inch stencil, this isn't quite the right size but did the trick.I ended up using all the sizes here so it's well worth the money as you can just about purchase one on the high street for the same price.Durable and easy to use.
