Save Some Money and Buy It!
I am writing to review the INIU 16 Ft VR Link Cable w/ Charging. My quick thoughts: for $25, this is a good deal. I also have the Meta Quest 3 Link Cable for comparison. Performance-wise, the Meta Quest 3 beats the INIU link cable by a measly 0.4 Gbps. I have run both link cables while playing F1 2024 and haven’t noticed any significant differences in performance. For cost and functionality, the INIU beats the Meta Quest 3 Link Cable for the bang for your buck, being able to play PCVR games and charge your MQ3 device. There are minor issues with both cables. From what I have read from other reviewers, the MQ3 Cable is not that durable, is prone to breaking, and will have performance issues later down the road, while the INIU can be a hit or miss with quality.Price:MQ3 cable $79.00INIU Price: $25.00Performance Bandwith:MQ3 Cable – 2.8 GbpsINIU – 2.4 Gbps

Great
Great cord it works perfect and the quality of the wire feels good and it’s just much better purchase over the official oculus link cable and I like how this one also slows you to connect another charger to it to make sure your headset is charging fast

Solves a very common PCVR + Quest use case (almost) completely. 9.5/10 stars.
It took me a minute to get it sorted out, but once I did, it serves the purpose extremely well. My use case is this: I use a Quest 3 for racing long League races. Using USB-C gives great visuals, but the USB charging is too weak, and the Quest 3 battery "slow charging" is not enough to get through an hour practice and a 45-60 minute race. I replaced the original strap with one that has a spot for a battery, and that's enough to get through the race, but forces me into Quest Airlink, which (even with a wifi 6 setup) gives terrible visuals and isn't stable or reliable and often breaks connection. This cable allows me to plug one end into USB-A on my PC, and USB-C on the Quest for that reliable cable-fed high graphics setting, and then plug a second cable into a 'junction box' that supplies power from a 100w USB-C charger.Result: Stable, high quality graphics AND a battery that hasn't dipped below 92%, even after 90 minutes of use.The only thing that would make this better would be... one of two slightly different products. Either:1. A USB-C (PC) to USB-C (HMD) version that has the junction box near the 90* end (so you can plug a battery-strap USB-C connector in and still use the Quest wired, which you can't currently do with any of the battery straps...2. A USB-C to USB-C with USB-C 'power tap' instead of the current USB-A to USB-C with USB-C 'power tap'. Why? the fastest USB-A port on my PC is a 10Gb/s port. I do have a 20Gb/s USB-C port, and the Quest 3 USB controller is upgraded from Quest 2, and can manage up to 20Gb/s as well. I'm leaving half the bandwidth on the table with the USB-A connection.

Aside from extremely minor issues, it's a great product!
Cable arrived just a few days ago and is already fantastic.PROSKeeps headset battery stable- Played for roughly 6 hours and battery stayed at 98% the entire time.Nice build quality- Braided cable with extended plastic towards the end to prevent bending.Aesthetic + convenient- Nice looking cable with a green LED on the end of the cable so you can know it's working!Packaged well- Came in a paper ziplock rather than plastic, and was secured in a loop by plastic clips! See notes belowCRITIQUESI wish the plastic clips were big enough to use as a clip to the headset- It doesn't come with any way to secure the cable in case it was caught or yanked, which can damage the portWhile I appreciate the environment-conscious packaging, I did feel the packaging design was a bit unprofessional at first with the lack of detail/cushion and had me worried I'd been scammed upon initial opening. Looked like something you pick up off a Dollar Tree rack before I opened it.The port on my headset occasionally keeps saying there's water in it when it's plugged in to this cable (and only this one).Aside from these things it works fantastic and has leveled up my VR sessions immensely, will purchase again if needed!

works rather well
I got this for my Meta Quest 2. It's got a lot of length which allows for usage in a nice open space from the PC. It's added USB port allows charging from an extra point so the headset actually charges pretty well instead of just slowly discharges while being used.

Broken but still useable/ Update Review: Works Perfectly Now with Fast Charger
The charge worked great for a 3 days but then I noticed it wasn't keeping charge or doing it's job anymore. The Cable isn't completely useless though it still keeps it charged for longer but slowly dies. so instead of me only playing for only 3 hours it lets be play for 8 to 10hrs or longer. The headset still keeps a good charge but slowly dies as you play. still making it good in my opinion.I give it a 3/10 because it's still functional BUT no longer starts the charge after it gets past 60%.____________________________________________________________________________________________Update Review: so last week I bought a Fast Charger. apparently both my friends who bought this have a fast chargers and I was using the basic charger that is given to you by meta. the fast charger is exactly what I needed to get this thing working perfectly. the long length of the cord helps me be more mobile with my area. The Cord plus the fast charger my headset never dies now or goes down slowly. it was good before with it slowly dying but now it quickly chargers back up to 100%.
