Lit for Little Hands: Pride and Prejudice (Lit for Little Hands, 1) (Volume 1)

Great book, easy to read and fun to play with. It is made very well and is thick enough to withstand quite a bit.

My daughter and I love reading this book together! I'm a Jane Austen fan, so being able to share this sweet, beautiful, and engaging book with my little one is priceless. Love it!

My daughter loves long, beautiful dresses and weddings, so Pride and Prejudice is a natural for her. She fell in love with the infant version we have, which is a counting primer, so we got this so she could actually learn the story. She and her 3yo brother fight over who gets to open the flaps, turn the dials, etc. They both have such fun reading it. The story is presented simply, with snippets of quotes from the real deal. I find I fill in some of the other details as I go along, which is fun because it becomes sort of a conversation then. And they are just entranced with all the ways to engage with the physical book. I'd say it is a win!

The media could not be loaded.  I was shocked at the incredible job the creators did at capturing the story (and a little one’s interest in it) with a short board book! And they did it with much of the beautiful language of the original included. You rarely find that in a baby book which has adapted a classic. I hesitated to get this because I already had a few Pride & Prejudice baby books- but I’m really pleased that I added this one. I think it’s my favorite one among them.

It's amazing that the authors can condense one of the top classic literature into a short children's book. Hopefully this will inspire children to either read the book when they are older or to watch the 1995 version (Colin Firth) or the 2005 version (Keira Knightly). Both are wonderful for mothers, fathers, and children to watch together.

I got this for a friend who has her first baby and she loves pride and prejudice. The book has moving pieces, is so cute, and sturdy! I can't wait to give it ot her!

I’m a Pride and Prejudice junkie. This book is perfect for my 3 year old - almost 4 years old. It is the first Lit for Little Hands book I’ve purchased but I will definitely buy more. My little girl loves it. The way the pages have moveable things on them (not sure what to call it) - she really enjoys the book. It’s durable. My child likes to rip pages out of books (the horror- I know) and she can’t tear these out.

Jeezus H. My wife and I giggled going through the book. The illustrations are fantastic, I love that it shows the complete Bennet family. No, there is no way to translate the novel into a board book, but nonetheless, this is an excellent and lovingly crafted book to introduce the works of Jane Austen to very young readers.

Il libro è bellissimo e fatto benissimo. L'ho ordinato una prima volta e ho dovuto chiedere il reso perché la copertina era rotta, ho chiesto la sostituzione ed è arrivato in un pacco insieme ad un altro ordine, protetto solo da una busta di plastica, andrebbe sicuramente protetto meglio.

Item arrived damaged, looks like a 2nd hand item. This was bought as a gift, I can't give a book that looks like this. Received a replacement copy, condition was just as bad as the first book. I have now asked for a refund.
