A Good product; perfect for the beach!
I read all the reviews and purchased this beach lounger with some trepidation. I am an old school Senior Citizen, who has been spending 6 weeks in Miami Beach for a few years now. I threw away my old plastic web lounger because a few of the pieces had broken, and then when I tried to find a new one, I was very sorry to learn they are no longer available, except for over $60. It was too late; the old one was gone, so I started searching and read all of the reviews. While most of the reviews for this product are good, I was frightened by the ones where the material had torn after only a few uses, and even worse, stories of people falling because the lounger collapsed. Some said it might not work well on the beach, so I ordered a much more expensive, taller lounger, that might be used as a camp cot, and when it arrived I immediately saw that it was way too heavy for me to carry from my condo to the beach, so I returned it. All the others even ones more expensive than this one, had the same mixed reviews , so I decided to take a chance on this one as I did not want to have to search for one when I arrived after a two day drive. This lounger arrived and I put it in my van in the box. When I unpacked it in Miami Beach, I carefully saved the box thinking there was a good chance I would have to return it. As I have said, I am a Senior Citizen, with both knees having been replaced. I am 5 feet 4 inches and weigh 148. I very carefully fixed the straps, put this on my back, and went to the beach. I made sure I put the foot part down first, watching the top, and I made sure the the legs were locked. Before I got on it, I made sure it was pressed down in the sand, and I carefully straddled it, in the middle portion, Nothing awful happened. It did not fall with me on the beach, and it did not rip. I waited to review it until I have used it 10 times in 2 hour sessions. I will be happy if it just lasts this season. So far, no rips, and no accidents. Even the back straps have still held firm. Every day I expect them to rip, but they have not. I figure if that's the only problem, the lounger is very light and I can either have the straps sewn, or just carry the lounger. It is much lighter than the old school ones I have been using. When I get out of the lounger I have made certain to swing both legs together to the sand, twist my body, and hold on to both middle bars, and push myself up, I have had no trouble getting out that way, and have had no damage. I use am umbrella and am not trying to tan, so I have not tuned over, but just read, with the back extended and my feet flat. I do like the backpack straps. I have not used the little bag. I think that's a good idea, but I have a beach bag I like to leave right next to me, putting my phone and my kindle in and out of it, rather than having to get up and go around to the back of the lounger to get things. So far I am more than pleased with this purchase. If it rips the next time I use it, I will alter this review, but so far, very good!

Worked Great
I bought two of these lounge chairs and took them to the beach for my son and I to use. They worked great, and I recommend. However, they are not playing about the weight limit! My son had no problems with his chair, and neither did I at first. However, I am about 10lbs over the suggested weight limit, and by day two the legs of my chair bent, and by day six, my chair was trash. My son's chair is still in excellent condition though. Long story short, abide by the weight limit. My only complaint, is the chair could be a little wider, as it left no room for my arms (my son either), so our arms had to either rest over our heads or on the ground aling our sides.

Great affordable option for the summer
Lounge is surprisingly sturdy, although not break-proof - I've had no problems with mine so far. Folds up easily, but also locks solidly in place when set up - comfortable fabric, does the job! Nice product, especially for the price.

Worth the price
I live on a 3rd story walk up in Chicago and wanted to get something that was compact enough to take to the beach, but also something I can open up on my balcony. This was exactly what I needed. I feel like this product might have been a tester before the actual product comes out which will be full price. People are being a little harsh with their reviews, if you want durable quality with stronger material...pay the price with a different vendor. With this chair you get what you pay for, I'm not going to go around lounging on this for hours at a time (because who has time for that?) The longest I have used this was three hours, I even got one for my husband who is 6'2". He loves it! Material is sturdy, straps are comfortable, and the pocket is a huge bonus when we go to the lake. This is a pack and go situation, not something you keep out at all times out in the yard. we pack it up and keep in inside, keeping it outside will cause wear and tear to the material which is why for some the seams rip and it falls apart.

Fell apart in one year
This chair served me very well for one summer. It was easy to fold up and take to the beach or use in the yard. Bright colors were fun and reminded me of the old school summer folding chairs. Unfortunately, one year later the piping washed off with a hose down and a few weeks later the fabric ripped where it’s connected to the metal bars so the chair is useless. I was disappointed that the chair was garbage in one year because I loved it before it ripped.

Super Easy to Fold and Unfold
I got this product to take out to the backyard in my apartment, so I wanted something that could fold up easily for storage. I love it!! It’s super quick and easy to fold and unfold. The quality is great and it feels sturdy, but is still light to carry. Highly recommend!

Inexpensive
If, you’re looking for an inexpensive option for sitting on the bench, this will serve you well. The backpack straps are great for handsfree carrying. The pocket @ back for beach towel is flimsy & the Velcro to secure it isn’t lined up where it should be so, fairly worthless if, you want to close it.The light weight of this chaise is a definite plus; in addition to being able to extend to full recline position, makes it a great beach accessory.Chair supposedly is designed for anyone up to 250lbs, I have serious reservations about the claim…I’m only 100lbs & the seams already appear strained. Definitely not the quality of other RIO products, I own.If, it gets me through the summer ~ will consider it a win.

Easy to set up
I knew I was buying used and returned item But did not expect the box to be so smashed up. Gladly the chair inside was perfectly fine. Unexpectedly there were 2 chairs inside the box. I only paid for and expected one!! Both chairs are in new condition are very easy to set up and I will use them tomorrow on the beach.

It’s better than the ground for sure!
For the price this rocks. I bought it so I can tan in the yard. It is pretty comfortable, but take note of the weight limit as I really don’t feel like putting over 200lbs is a good idea. It tends to wobble a bit while getting up and down. I really like that both sides adjust so I can have my feet a bit elevated as well as my head. The chair is really light and packs easily. It would work well for the beach. Maybe next year!

Not good, substandard build quality
Legs bent after only 4 uses causing me to collapse on the ground and I’m 80kg and not overly heavy! Now destined for the hard rubbish collection as the return window closed about 2 weeks ago and can't get a refund.

Pretty Good, but Not for Everyone
I really like how this is compactable and has carrying straps. Looks like the picture. I feel like most of the other reviews are pretty true.Is it the comfiest chair I've ever sat it? No way, but for the price and what you get, I think its totally worth it. I say it is absolutely not for everyone because I think if anyone is bigger or heavier than I am (5'6", 135lbs) it would feel small and unstable. Absolutely if you sit on either end as a chair you'd flip, and when I lay down flat, it fits me, but just barely. For me, it feels pretty stable when used for its intended purpose. I would also not recommend this if you have poor mobility, as it is fairly low to the ground, and in the event that you did fall, you'd have to get back up again... so if you're worried about breaking a hip or something, this is not the chair for you.For me, a young mobile person who is using this chair for mainly tanning purposes, it is perfect.
