An excellent choice
Having just retired and being seriously overweight I decided to get fit without having to go to a gym. I wanted a 'heavy duty' treadmill with a a powerful motor, electronically operated incline and simple controls. In addition having seriously clapped out kneed joints I wanted a low resistance walking 'deck'. This treadmill ticks all my boxes and more, excellent quality and built to last. I especially like the pre-programmed routines and will use the heart rate monitor later. The treadmill operates very quietly, so as I am lumbering through my routine I do not disturb anyone and I can listen to the wireless without having to turn it up full blast. Yes there is an MP3 player connection but in our house we don't use such gizmos.I am impressed and delighted with my treadmill and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone considering buying. I must admit that I was a little worried about spending such a lot of money without knowing the supplier; but I needn't have been they are an excellent company with superb customer care and high integrity. I omitted to state on my order that the treadmill would need to be taken upstairs, I sent an email via the Amazon 'contact the seller' facility and received a phone call within an hour. Everything was sorted out in an efficient friendly manner, JTX could teach others a thing or two about customer care!If there is one thing that I would like ................ it would be more detailed information on what the different programmes do, incline and speed, in the user manual. All up I'm a very happy customer.

Pretty good really.....
I researched this for weeks. After sifting though all the main manufacturing webpages and running magazine review sections I came to the conclusion that theirs not enough comparison available out there and that pretty much there are only 2 types of treadmill. The Gym Level - Full on GYM KIT, daily hours of use. GBP 2000+.The Home User - Used by upper moderate fitness recreationalist. This treadmill fits in 'The Gym level' - Can you imagine it being in a paid for gym. Lower Tier section.Pro: Solid, sturdy, smooth.Con: They fitted weak speakers that are meaningless and would have been better left out, but at the same time you know your treadmill has speakers, like a silly gimmick, but you still end up wanting to keep them situations.Solid belt. Easyish to assemble, but you will need two people for attaching the console.I will finish the review later.....possibly to run.

A month in and it seems great
I have owned this treadmill for a month and run nearly 80Km on it. I have it hooked up (via Bluetooth) to Zwift, which I use for transferring my run data (speed and incline) to Strava. Note that Zwift is not able to control the treadmill. The JTX also connects (Bluetooth) to my Garmin heart rate monitor and displays the rate on its screen. It is very solidly built and copes with me (107Kg) thumping away on it without any stress. Belt is very quiet. The 'ipad holder' is a bit flimsy. It's OK, but I'm not sure how long it will last (though it hasn't actually shown any sign of breaking).Took me a couple of hours to put together (but I like to triple check I'm doing the right thing before I tighten up bolts :-) ), and it isn't difficult. It is very heavy while in its box, but once assembled it can be moved relatively easily via the wheels on the front end.Very pleased with the purchase.UPDATE: 8 months in and still very pleased

and the built in speaker works well for playing music off a smart phone or tablet
I bought this five months ago and so far it does the job but is not ideal. It has a reassuringly heavy duty feel and a powerful motor that can probably attain higher speeds than most consumer models, and the built in speaker works well for playing music off a smart phone or tablet. The large display seems like a waste of space with not much information on it besides speed, distance, and a lot of useless flashing dots. Speaking of space, it ships in a gigantic box the size of two coffins that won't fit through a normal sized door frame unless carried by three very strong but thin men, and even then you'll need a good ten feet of clearance straight back from the door. Some day they'll lose a sale when a customer tells them to put it back on the truck. For a domestic delivery, you'll probably have to hope it isn't raining when you open it outside and carry the parts in separately after the delivery guys have given up and left, contrary to the included assembly and maintenance instructions, which are inexcusably inaccurate and incomplete. Also be careful not to cut the tie that restrains the hydraulics or it still won't fit through a door. Don't buy this model for the bells and whistles. You won't get a steady reading from the heart rate monitor. The power cord is three feet long, apparently designed by someone who either likes to run facing a wall or who owns shares in a company that makes extension leads. The reason to buy this model is that you're a grumpy old man who has been running for thirty years and now needs to switch to a treadmill for the sake of his knees, but finds that most consumer models topping out at 12kph aren't fast enough. BTW, my knee problems have diminished since using it.

Fabulous Machine Just Buy It.
This is a fabulous machine. I like many others do not like or do not have the time to go to a gym, not a problem now, I simply go into my spare room and start my work out. Morning is the best time, I feel energized for the rest of the day. This is a Commercial machine and a considered purchase but don't give it a second thought, just buy it, you will be so pleased you did. Highly recommend it. Great service, I was contacted with a delivery day and time slot even down to the last half hour.Very simple to assemble, this was a worry but it needn't have been, clear instructions with all tools supplied. There is one thing though, it is heavy. This is clearly advised to you about the weight, so get some help to move it in.
