Ideal
My 86 year old mum saw something similar in a mag. When I had a look round, this was a far better item with all it has. Mum has severe arthritis in her hands and finds it extremely difficult to grip anything. This is just right for her. The grater has additional blades including a peeler / slicer. Just a word of warning, the spikes are obviously VERY 'spikey'. I was worried mum might catch her hand and injure herself as her eyesight is naff. I've taken a top off a sports water bottle and covered the spikes with this just so she doesn't catch herself. It's very clever anyway in that you can turn the spikes upside down out of the way and have a completely flat board, but that's fiddly for her and would probably lead to a visit to A&E! Pop a little protective hat on and it does the job. All round - excellent product; good price although it sounds expensive; good quality and very effective. It comes with 4 screw in suckers for the bottom so it doesn't move around. Highly recommend.

It’s good but with a few issues.
I bought this to use as I’ve had a shoulder replacement. The main big plus is the clamp. Works a treat for holding items to cut or in my case jars etc to open that one can’t do one handed. The grater part is too small . It works but then its hard to get the food out without it going everywhere. Then I I couldn’t clean the inside of the recess! It is a lot of money for what it is, but couldn’t manage without it, hence 4* rating.

Amazing product
I have had one hand for 25 years, and have always avoided things like this because of cost and usefulness. Who ever designed is its one handed, or listened to one handed people. I am able to cut rolls with the angled vice clamp (no more holding between knees, and cutting upwards) I love how the spike tool is reversible to keep it out of the way, when not in use. I use the spike board for buttering rolls, which have always been a bit tricky, on a standard buttering bread. I am yet to use the vegetable slicer, but if it's like the rest of this product, then it will be excellent. The only alteration I would make, is a gap of about 10mm in the corner of the buttering area, for cutting small vegetable, like baby tomatoes and mushrooms etc.I watched this product for a year, thinking should I? or shouldn't I ?Very happy

Difficult to unstick from the work station
Great product, onlyLimitation is that it is held down with four suckers that are difficult to “unstuck” from the kitchen side for an able bodied person and impossible with a client that has a one sided weakness. This can be solved by removing the suckers and placing the work station on a dycem mat.

Great idea but poorly designed and executed
I have very little use of my left hand (non dominant hand) and so this equipment has been useful. I have owned this item for about 6 years and paid nearly seventy pounds for it. The benefits are obvious, the base has suckers that keep it firmly fixed to the work top, the clamp holds items you want to cut or chop, particularly a loaf of bread or piece of fruit, the spikes are great for holding something round like an onion whilst you slice and the grater works well. I’ve never used the brush so can’t comment. After about 5 years the clamp broke, the plastic fell apart. The plastic gets furrows cut into it which look unsightly and harbour discolouration and dirt and isn’t really suitable chopping board material (see photo), the whole board is very difficult to lift up to clean because of the suckers. Trying to move the board one handed by displacing half the suckers which then stick it back down as you try to lift the other suckers! It’s big and ugly and takes up quite a lot of room and as I’ve said, the plastic isn’t really suitable for kitchen cutting equipment.A better idea would be to have a proper set of cutting boards that slot into the base thereby making it easier to clean. The vice needs to be much sturdier and better engineered (it has screws on the bottom which just rust).

Allowed me to get back cooking on my own after a stroke.. brilliant device & good quality
Brilliant product for me as I have little or no use of my left hand so allows me to get back cooking in the kitchens, it’s sucker feet keep it completely secure

Multipurpose chopping board
Useful but not very easy to keep clean when you've only got the use of one arm!
