It has a good consistency, lathers well, is maybe a little more drying than I'd been hoping for, but you can't really blame a soap for cleaning. That said, the ad copy and even many reviews left me hoping for a floral rose fragrance, and the bar I got seems to be almost totally scentless. I don't know if this is an issue with age or storage, or if somehow there was just a bad batch, but it was enough of a disappointment to be worth noting.

Bee + Flower Goat Milk Soap are hefty sized bars of soap that weigh 9 ounces. In each order there are three bars: Lavender & Goats Milk, Pine & Goats Milk, and Rose & Goats Milk. Each bar is wrapped in a piece of paper. On the face of each bar, it is stamped with the words, Goat Soap, and on the back two Chinese symbols. I unwrapped the Lavender & Goats Milk soap first. The white colored bar has a pleasant floral fragrance but it did not smell like lavender to me. When using the soap, the bars lathered beautifully creating a fluffy flurry of bubbles on my body. It felt good against my skin. The bubbles rinsed off effortlessly leaving my skin feeling soft to the touch and moisturized when I was towel dry. The fragrance that I enjoyed did not remain on my skin once I finished my shower. Each bar has a distinct scent and I found that I liked the rose scent the best. The bars will last a long time due to their large nature. I did not experience any skin irritation, redness, or dryness when using these soaps. The three wrapped bars are placed in a clear resealable bag. The manufacturer noted that the natural plant production is done by hand and that the soap does not use mineral oil, benzene preservatives, or irritating raw materials. The majority of the labels are written in Chinese. I was able to see on the Amazon product page that the soap is made with olive oil, glycerin, and essential oil along with the goats milk. Interestingly, the Pine scent notes that it includes olive essential oil. I hope in future packaging that the ingredients list is also available in English. The bars are labeled with a best by date of 33 months from the date that I received it. Overall, I found it cleaned my skin well and left it feeling soft.

I like good soap- L’OCCITANE, Aveda, Fresh. This soap is not that. Don’t be fooled. I was excited for the green tea soap. I imagined suds that were “sweet, nutty, floral, grassy, floral and buttery”. They are not. This soap smells like an overpowering old lady powder… just like a grandma with a bowl of stale hard candy. All I can think is the person who dumped old lady powder in the vat was drinking green tea! My coworkers didn’t know at first but then someone loudly says, “can we call the building to up the air? Smells like an old people’s home”… I was distraught. So, if you like stale old people powder smell and don’t care there is no green tea aroma you’ll love this soap. Otherwise- avoid at all costs.

I am amazed with the mild floral scent. The aroma stays on the body for hours after the shower but nothing sharp or bothering. It softens the skin. My skin is very sensitive to chemical and artificial products, I didn't have any problem with this one. I love this soap bar and will keep purchasing it.

I like how clean and gently fragrant this soap is. It doesn’t dry out my skin. Very fine scent too
