This product absolutely lives up to its name. I am fair skin and this product gives me a natural looking tan without the bad scent or orange tones.

I did not wake up with a tan !

I am so pale and have to use a very light touch when using self-tanners. Since we are just coming out of winter and my skin hasn't seen much sun in a long while, I decided to try this on my arms initially, again, applied with a very light touch. I typically prefer products to be free of fragrance because of allergies/scent sensitivities and what have you, but I just love the way this product smells...it doesn't bother me at all. I can't pinpoint the scent, but it is really great. This applied easily right after a shower with freshly exfoliated skin and I was super careful to scrub my hands multiple times after application to make sure I didn't end up with orange fingers.It's funny, I totally forgot that I had applied this before bed when I woke up. I just got in the shower like usual and then when I got out, I remembered, only because I saw the tube sitting on my counter, not because my arms looked so much darker. I had to look closely to be honest, to make sure it had really worked and that is actually the way I prefer it...just super subtle, gradual, buildable tan that isn't overly noticeable. I love that this is gluten free and that it offers extra hydration with the hyaluronic acid. I am looking forward to trying this on my legs next. I will definitely need to exfoliate and will go out of my way to apply with a very light and careful tough so that I don't end up with streaking. I will definitely let this dry and set for a couple of hours before going to bed, just in case.

No strange smell, reminds me of a body spray smell. Gave me a nice base color and minimal streaking. Lasts a little under a week for me.

I hate to be the first person to give this tanner somewhat of a negative review, but I'm not loving this tanning gel. I'm very fair skinned, and I typically start to use other self tanners because about this time of year because I like to try and build a base without going into a tanning bed, until I am outdoors more.I applied this at night, and had it on while I was sleeping. On application, the scent was fruity/floral and very appealing. Around halfway through the night, the smell changed to that of a spray tan. This didn't bother me much, however, it is a drastically different smell than that on application. Additionally, it had to be pretty strong for me to smell it in the middle of the night.When I woke up, I was pretty dark, but it wasn't an even color. Notably, I did try this without doing any "primers" or special moisturizer beforehand, because it did have hyaluronic acid in it, I didn't think I had to. My skin wasn't abnormally dry by any means, and I had put it on after a shower and exfoliation.For the price, I believe there are way better self tanners out there. $25 for this bottle is not going to last you more than maybe a month of regular applications.

So the tanner does work like it claims. I definitely saw results next morning. I exfoliated and followed pretanner instructions. I'm not new to self tanning, I've used self tanners for years and feel I'm pretty good at getting a natural looking streak free tan. I do normally use mouse tanners with color guide built in. This one has no color guide so unfortunately even after carefully applying feet and hands, it still left harsh line. I plan on fixing this with some lemon juice and exfoliating to fade it. All other areas was a nice even tone. It deepened about 4 to 5 shades darker. It does have a slight orange tint, not as bad as some but I'm fair skin so orange tints do show up more on me. I feel like I achieved a similar color change with one application of this compared to a couple overnight applications with my mouse product. but I also feel it's a bit more orangy than my normal mouse tanners too, so it's take the bad with the good sorta thing and weigh out the pros and cons. If I'm in a rush for a quick tan with one day, I would definitely use this but be MUCH more careful around feet and wrist. Not sure if another application would turn out even more orangy or not. I may try one more just to see and update this review with results. Good tanner.****Update: I did add a second application and it deepened even more than one coat alone. I don't feel like it made it more orange, opposite actually. I added additional photo for comparison to one coat only application. I do recommend this for a quick deep dark tan. No streaks even application, I only point out to use very very little towards hand wrist and feet and ankles as it is super dark and if not blended really well it will leave a harsh line. Not sure if this is the best option for beginner self tanners due to this issue and no color guard. Still a 5 star tanner, even better after 2nd application
