Does the job well!
I have a large Timberland watch that i couldnt take the back off to replace the battery. The back of the watch has 6 small notches equally spread out so i wasnt sure how to open it until i looked online and found this tool.First of all it comes well packed in a strong blue case and the wrench itself seems very solid and of good quality.Setting it up was quite simple as well, you just have to find which bolts fit best for your watch and insert 3 and then youre ready to align it into position. This is the only reason why i gave it 4 star and not 5 because to open up the back of a watch with this, you must align the 3 notches and then it should easily twist off however as my watch is particular large, the wrench couldnt reach very well meaning only 2 of the bolts had grip. this was pretty annoying as i thought id just wasted my money on it but luckily, i managed to open up my watch with it using only two of the bolts and left me pretty pleased with this.Throughly recommend as it seems of very high standard and the handy case means the small bolts wont get lost.

Just Don't, Give Yourself a Chance
This is not a brilliant piece of equipment, it looks it, but it's not. Why? I'm going to make this quick. The unit is a very 'shakey' piece of kit, it just doesn't feel well built. The lack of rubber handle means that you will struggle with grip when trying to apply pressure and the handle doesn't stay secure once you've adjusted the wrench, so you'll find the pegs moving while you're trying to remove the watch back. The pegs don't hold in the unit either, they will fall out when your handling the wrench and this is infuriating. All in all this just isn't a good wrench, don't be tempted by the price. Do yourself a favour and buy something more expensive or do the smart thing and get a removal ball, they are the best thing since sliced bread!Thank's for reading

Cheap but not so cheerful
This item came on time and is as described. It is very fiddly in use and the adjusters are very loose which makes it very hard to get a good grip on the tool and the watch back.In the end i had to resort to using a screwdriver and a hammer to loosen the back of my watch and then used the tool to tighten it back on after changing the battery. The top adjuster is fairly tight and stays put but the bottom adjuster is very loose and will not stay put, it is part of the handle and of course this is where you will be applying pressure so it swivels freely making it almost impossible to stay gripped on to the watch back.I guess you get what you pay for but in this case it probably is not worth it, sure it will work out cheaper in the long run but if you have an expensive watch then by an expensive tool if you want to keep it in pristine condition.

It was cheap and it does the job (on a cheap watch anyway)
As I said above, it works. The only point I'd make is that it is incredibly easy to scratch the backplate of the watch - the triangular tips especially seem pretty sharp. I'd probably recommend getting a watch vice to hold the watch itself and make the handling easier. If you have a watch that's valuable, I'd still take it to a jewellers, and make any damage their problemHowever, in terms of doing what it's meant to, it works very well. The top two "points" are adjusted by the black wheel, and the lower "point" is adjusted by turning the handle. Packaging is basic, and you'll want to keep some of the bubble wrap its shipped in to stuff inside the box to stop the tips falling out when you turn the box over.Other than that, a good little tool, and incredible value

Tricky to use but great with some watches.
Used this a few time in the last couple years to change my watch batteries. Some watches it's easy, and on others it's difficult. Have had both successful and unsuccessful attempts. Still for the price it's decent, just wished it worked on all my watches (maybe I lack the knack for it).

Works well.
The tool itself seems well made, the bits however are not of such good quality. I didn't receive 6 sets of 3 as stated, most there are 3 of but I have one largish round bit that has no mates at all and only 2 of the triangular ones, perhaps there is a watch that needs that combination?? They come loose in a small bag so you have to sort them out, found I needed a magnifying glass as my eyes are going! The bits stayed in the tool, unlike another reviewer said, and, after a bit of fiddling to get the size right, it worked very well - battery replaced in a few seconds at a fraction of the cost of getting a jeweller to do it.

Did the job for me!
I've had this divers watch for years, really like it but when the batteries died I found that most jewellers wouldn't touch it because of the need to maintain the water-resistance. I therefore had to take it to a dive shop to replace the batteries and they aren't that thick on the ground in my area.I bought this when the batteries went the last time and it does exactly what I wanted it to - removes the screw-off back of the watch, without scratching the metal, provides enough leverage for even the most well-sealed watch back. I subsequently used it on several other watches in the family and its adjustability ensures it fitted every one of them.Good piece of kit...

Saved me a packet
Usually pay around £15 to get batteries changed in my watches, now I can do the job myself, tool's already paid for itself. The idea is a simple, and adjustable wrench type mechanism with two controls to move the three heads. Most of the tips are repeats of the main design, which is really all you need. The box is also well made. It's pretty amazing this cost a couple of £.
