Was skeptical at first but pulled the trigger and bought one. It is a very sturdy box. I didn’t need a deep box because I wasn’t running Romex. If you are, I would suggest a deeper box. One review stated it was flimsy. Not this one. It is very sturdy. Would recommend for wiring other than romex. I used it for coax.

Seems like a solid box for my new outlet. 0 issues with the installation. Box is solid, held to the wall and the outlet as expected.

These are by far the best old work box I've ever used. I bought a couple to sample and they worked great. Clean and simple install. I highly recommend.

For the DIYer these are the only ones to use, they are meant for old construction, so geared towards renos. Ensure you know basic electrical, but one you do, these can make you look like a pro. So smartly designed, safe and easy to use, nothing else really to say. Especially useful if you are trying to add a deeper smart switch and need to remove an old slimmer steel box, this is the way to go.
