I have a SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P and have found that when wearing the headset for a long time, it still puts some uncomfortable pressure on my ears, so I have been on the lookout for a set of better earpads to help with that a bit. These aren't them. Despite being described on the product page as "upgraded," I wouldn't really consider them better than the stock earpads. They aren't thicker or stiffer and don't appear to be more durable or more comfortable.All that having been said, they look fine, fit well enough, and would be a good, economical replacement for torn or worn-out earpads. These could also be better for you if you (for some reason) prefer smooth faux-leather pads to the more fabric style stock pads. I was just hoping for something a bit better.I would give these 3.5 stars, but rounded down to 3 because of being described as "upgraded," without really offering anything noticeably better than the stock pads.

I feel like these actually block out sound better than the original ear pads that come with the headset. Since they don't have noise cancelling this is a good compromise to get more in-depth sound from your headset. I feel like they create more of a "seal" around my ears than normal which helps keep out ambient noises. They are comfortable to wear for several hours at time and just as easy as the stock pads to install ( in other words slightly annoying) but they fit like the originals and holding up well.

After putting them on, they provide a soft comfy feel. Brought my headphones back to life! I would recommend

No plasticy, solvent odors.These frameless earpads are within 2mm of the same dimensions as the ear pads on the headset cups of a Plantronics RIG Pro headset.Once the RIG's ear pad frames are unsnapped from the ear cups, the old earpads, which are lightly glued all around the frame, are easily and cleanly peeled away. All that needs to be done to these SOULWIT earpads is to install them around and over the back side of the mounting frames and then make openings for the four plastic clips on each earpad frame. I used a leather hole punch to make these openings and found the protein leather highly resistant to cutting. That's a good thing. Then, observing the asymmetrical orientation of the frame mounting clips, all that needs to be done is to snap each frame onto its ear cup, with the SOULWIT earpads on them. There is no left/right specificity to these earpads, but there is left and right specificity to the earpad frames on each RIG headset cup.I'm not a big fan of protein leathers, because they break down in various peculiar ways over relatively short periods of time, as compared to properly treated real leather. I have high hopes that SOULWIT protein leather will outlast factory and third party competition ear pads.I'm not using these exactly as intended by SOULWIT, but I am very satisfied with them, so far. Only time will tell, though.
