Burts Potato Chips Mature Cheddar 150 g (Pack of 10) Absolutely wonderful, so glad to have found these at Waitrose last November and how glad I am I to have found I can get them delivered every two months here in Rome via Amazon. Delicious crisps and remind me of Rishy, the only cheese crisps (none of your onion rubbish!) you could get some 30 years ago. They were only popular in the North and Northeast of England, I was told. Then Benson took over the firm and they themselves went bust...leaving a huge gap in the market. I believe Walkers had a feeble attempt with a cheese crisp but it didn't take off. I haven't tried the other wonderfully sounding flavours in the Burts range but I am so happy to have found a superbly made, well cooked and cut, really first-class cheddar cheese crisp...and my Italian mother-in-law loves them too!! I am going to have to hide them. Well done Burts, and the chap who fries these Mostafa (name on the packet!) . BRILLIANT!!!!

Burts are THE best crisps. I've kept buying them even though a lot of the national supermarkets appear to have stopped selling them in favour of their "own label" offerings.Great that Amazon have them still.

Great flavour on these chips compared to their chili offering. Can taste the cheese clearly and has nice amount of salt. Compared to tyrells they are a little crunchier. All and all not bad. 4/5
