Updated Lid, Same Good Quality
This container is not cheap, that's for sure. I accidentally broke my original one, which was extremely annoying, and I went with an after market one, which was nowhere near as nice as the brand name. The lid has a silicone seal, which is a big upgrade from my previous lid, which had no seal. My after market container had a rubber boot, which I put on this one, since I have marble counters. This would be nice to have included. It's identical to the one that comes with the distiller, I do recommend.

Very satisfied
I bought a home distiller recently and the 1 gallon glass bottle, a different model from this one, broke within weeks. I was very happy to find out that a replacement was available, and am very satisfied with this product. Delivery was rapid and the bottle is very easy to assemble and clean. Would recommend it to anyone.

Came with porcelain filter insert.
I previously had my water dripping through an old, dirty, plastic dripper into an old, dirty plastic container. Now I have my water dripping through a porcelain insert and into a glass container! This comes with the ($12) porcelain insert. Takes a few minutes to assemble as you wrap 2 bands around (they have tiny hooks to make it easy) and attach the 2 handle screws, then snap on the handle screw cover.

Thin Glass
It is OK. The Glass is not as thick as the original that i have user since 2013. Must be gentle with handling.
