Great for a wooden spoon and wide enough to put spider. Has a clean, simple swirl design that it is not a boring plate holding your utensil! So much better than my old, definitely worth it!

This spoon rest is really pretty, the perfect size, and simple to clean. I just rinse it under the sink and dry it was a dishtowel. It has a lovely patina, a kind of gloss on it. It's an artistic and practical kitchen item that I keep out next to my stove. It would make a lovely gift.

I bought the spoon rest in special gray last year and love it, the color is perfect for my countertop. Decided to get another and put it next to the coffee maker but the new one is blue with pink at the edges, no match for the green-gray of the first one. Ordered a replacement but it is also pink-blue so both new ones will go back and I’ll look for something completely different instead of trying to match the first one.That said it’s sturdy, washes really well and looks beautiful. If you want two, order at the same time.
