We have an 18 foot above ground. Effectiveness obviously depends on ambient temp and hours of sunshine.I just kept adding panels to increase temp. Definitely works but you need at least 3 kits for a larger pool. Currently running 4 (gets temp up to c.28 degrees on a good day). Buying 2 more kits though might need to upgrade pump pump.Downside - apart from the obvious (cost and weather), need a lot of space in full sunshine.Would recommend

Rubbish product. The connectors to step down the hose don’t work and it leaks. I will need to buy better adapters which is annoying

As a plumber I can see the theory but for us it did not work but then again we haven’t had a lot of sun this summer. To run these with a little current going through you will need the biggest best way pump or it will not flow through properly. The sun really needs to be burning to even warn the pipes up, if pipes are slightly warm the current going through will just kill any heat what so ever

This is the best above ground solar pool heater we have ever used! It's really tough and well made with a large area to catch the sun. Very Impressed. Worth buying!

Very Pleased with this Heater. On Composite decking works very Good.

After 8 hour of sunshine my pool temp increased by approximately 2 degrees. Not worth all the time and effort to set up.
