Amazon Essentials Women's Zip Up Utility Jacket

5’3”, 150lbs.measurements: Chest 36”, Waist 33”, Shoulder to high hip - 18”, Under breasts to belly button - 8”Arm inseam 18”.Ordered a large since I do like to wear my jackets bigger. Unfortunately for my Likings, it was too big. The arms were too long and it felt bulky. I put a sweater under and still had room. I returned it and purchased a medium. Which I love and feels great. The sleeves are still long. I can still wear a sweater under. I’m sure a small would be fine too.Over all for the price, style, fit, and quality...5 stars. Love the large pockets!My photos are the in large size.

I wasn't expecting to like this actually. I was all ready to return until I tried it on! I'm 5'3" and about 135 lbs. I am small up top so I can wear small and medium. I got a medium and it's perfect. The sleeves are too long but they easily cuff up once and it looks like it was made to do that. The waist can be cinched with the drawstring. It looked short on the model, so that is why I thought it would work for me. It's light weight but not too light. It has a tiny bit of stretch that makes it comfortable. I was afraid the collar wouldn't lay down, but it does. I'm a bit tired of my army green utility jacket, so I really like the navy blue color. It's a keeper for me.

I’ve been dying for this jacket to be restocked and got the alert it was back - and lucky enough to snag it! Went to a parent/teacher conference and my son’s teacher asked me how I managed to get it because she’d gotten the alert too but it had already sold out. Yes Amazon, you have truly created a coveted piece in this olive utility jacket when ladies in a town of only 3,000 people are spotting it and instantly chatting about your clothing lines!I ordered a M and it is a bit big on me, I probably need a small, but it wasn’t in stock, but whatever! I got it! It will give me room to wear bulkier sweaters underneath.Pros:It is *the* olive utility jacket.It looks sharp and streamlined, but also a bit edgy.Has an adjustable waist for a fitted look.ConsThere’s not a great way to adjust the strings at the waist. I wish this jacket had sliding pieces like the Daily Ritual utility jacket to hold the string in place, as opposed to making knots in the string to secure them in place. I initially made it too tight and needed to very gently use a seam ripper to coax the knot loose without destroying the string. Perhaps a craft/sewing store sells these “string locks” and I can add them myself, but if they came with the jacket it would get 5 stars from me. I had to take a star off for this - it’s such a simple design element that’s easily incorporated, I’m not sure why it was overlooked unless it infringed on a design patent or something.No open pockets. Not a deal breaker, but they’d be nice. I do like that I can snap the outer pockets shut and keep valuables safe - it’s a nice trade-off.Overall, I LOVE IT. I’ve worn it nearly every day since it arrived (ahead of schedule, too!). It goes with everything and I’ve no idea why I didn’t have one years ago. Please restock other colors in S! We want them all! Thank you!

I haven't worn it yet but I love the style and quality. It's very well put together, well made and a nice medium weight fabric. Front zips and snaps. When it's fully zipped it creates a nice stand up collar. I'm 150lbs 5'4" and the medium fits perfectly. I'd wear a tshirt or long sleeve light weight shirt or jersey underneath. If you wanted to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath you'll need to go up a size. I've been looking a long time for the right army jacket. I not only found it, but at a much lower price point than expected. I'm quickly becoming a fan of Amazon Essentials women's apparel.

What a fabulous find! I had been looking for a utility-style jacket for some time that fit well and felt substantial without breaking the bank. This jacket does not disappoint! It feels heavier, yet not stiff, like some other jackets I had tried on in the past. Comfort is very important to me, especially when it comes to shoulder and arm room as I am not a fan of a jacket that feels binding and inflexible. The jacket is a perfect addition to my wardrobe and I'll be buying more colors. As for the value, the jacket is far less expensive than comparable items and worth every penny.

I’m 5’7” 128 lbs. I got this in a small. Length is great. Sleeves are long enough, but not too long. I can wear a sweatshirt or sweater with this. Love the draw string waist you can tighten it as much as you want to accentuate your waist area, or you can leave it loose. It is very flattering. It’s durable but yet light weight. Perfect for the fall as a transition jacket.

I love this jacket and you can't beat the price. The material is a nice thickness (not cheap) and the color is as expected. I am 5 ft. 5 inches and weigh 112 lbs. for reference and the XS fit perfect. The jacket length wasn't too short and though the sleeves are slightly long, I think it looks great with the sleeves rolled up. I will be wearing this a lot.

The coat felt well made and was a nice medium-weight fabric, but it was too big and longer on me than it appears on the model. I think the next size down would fit better but would still be an awkward length since I have a short torso. The sleeves were also a little too long so I looked like a child playing dress-up. I like that you can cinch the waist using drawstrings adjustable from inside the coat and that the zipper worked smoothly. Overall a nice jacket but just didn't work for me.

This is the perfect jacket to throw on to wear in the spring, and I will assume it will be great this fall as well. I have jackets that are a bit too heavy for this time of year. They are more winter coats and this one is the best jacket to have where it's still too cold to just go out in a tshirt but you don't want to cook yourself in something too stuffy.I got the green one and the color is fantastic. I really love the look of it. The material feels like a really soft canvas type of material and the snaps are sturdy and the zipper is strong.If I had to find some things to complain about, my 2 would be to have slightly deeper pockets. The pockets on this jacket aren't tiny by any means, but maybe because I'm so used to having pockets with some size to it...I find these ones are about an inch too short to hold what I put in them.One other thing I'd like to have seen is this jacket in an option that adds about 4 inches or so to the length. I'd love to have a bit more coverage on my rear end for those breezy days and if Amazon comes out with this style jacket in a 3/4 length....I'd be one of the first in line to get one. With that said, none of those "complaints" are a deal breaker at all. I'm still really happy with what I got.

Really as nice and simple as in the picture. Well made, good quality cotton, perfect fit with a bit of space for a thicker jumper. I am somewhere between size 10 and 12, bought size S and it is just perfect. The only way to improve this product would be to add lining, not of polyester but cotton maybe. I really like its simple design.
