Good pastel mat
Good quality paper, easy to use it. Great for colour pencils, it allows many layers. A little bit expensive, but the quality is priceless.

The best surface for coloured pencils
Most coloured pencil artists love Pastlemat for its unique texture and great quality.It’s expensive, but the price justifies the quality. Pastlemat is uniquely made with plant cellulose meaning that the texture is velvety smooth but at the same time will hold multiple layers of pencil or pastel. It is a truly unique surface which can differ from pad to pad, and can take a while to get used to as a beginner.Although it’s designed for pastel artists, its vast functionality means that it’s choice surface for many different media artists as it’s so easy to create depth and layers.I particularly love the Anthracite colour, do deep and dark that helps to make lighter colours really stand out.

Beautiful surface for pastels
Loving the dark shade it really shows the up the colour of the pastels. I highly recommend trying this pad.

Fault in printing of pad. Too late to return
Love Pastelmat BUT this was one of the faulty run. Unable to return. Watch out for lines in the printing that show up when you add pastel.
