Herbal paste
This is a herbal paste, it's meant to help with different ailments but with herbal solutions it's not going to work for everyone. If your are sensitive to Asian or strong earthy flavours you will not get along with this. It's very different to take ginseng as a capsule versus in paste form like this as you don't taste the ginseng when you take capsules.I don't mind the earthy ginseng taste so this was fine for me. It's not pleasant like drinking juice but it's not horrible. I felt somewhat energised after taking this so I'd definitely continue taking this. I think it's helped me with my digestion too. Would recommend. It's pricy because ginseng is expensive when it's premium quality so I think it's good value.

EXPENSIVE! High quality product but lacks evidence for any significant benefit over regular Ginseng.
I actually have my doubts about some of their claims however it is worth noting that this price point they are targeting is directly related to the claim regarding ingredient purity, highlighting a new low-temperature extraction process without the addition of water, suggests an innovative approach to preserving the effective components of ginseng. While traditional extraction methods may involve heat or solvents, which can degrade certain bioactive compounds, low-temperature methods aim to minimise such degradation, potentially enhancing the overall effectiveness of the product. However, further scientific studies comparing the efficacy of low-temperature extraction versus traditional methods would provide valuable insights into the comparative benefits of this approach.I cannot make any comments about which method is superior as there are a lack of studies regarding this. Even if one is better, its not clear if the benefits can be seen or are so marginal they may have a negligible effect.Lets talk about ingredients...It's important to look into the specific components and their intended benefits. For instance, the product claims to contain 32 saponin variants, which are bioactive compounds found in ginseng known for their potential health-promoting effects. These saponins have been studied for their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immune-modulating properties, which may contribute to the overall health benefits of the product. The product boasts a 7% acidic polysaccharide content, which is noteworthy as polysaccharides are known for their immune-boosting properties. Acidic polysaccharides, in particular, have been studied for their potential to enhance immune function and support overall health. However, theres not many sources and studies which compares ginseng polysaccharide content so its unclear if this is actually higher than other ginseng products / roots. The addition of propolis and liquorice to enhance the taste of the product while preserving its nutritional effects is an interesting strategy. Propolis, a resinous substance collected by bees, is known for its antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, while liquorice has been used traditionally for its sweet flavour and potential health benefits. However, it's essential to consider the potential impact of these additives on the overall composition and bioavailability of the product. Scientific studies investigating the interaction between ginseng, propolis, and liquorice would help elucidate their synergistic effects and potential health implications.I must commend the taste to be very herbal and unique, not bad but it isn't a treat by all means. Can't really describe it other than its similar to typical traditional Chinese medicines. The use of Korean Red Ginseng, derived from 6-year-old ginseng roots certified by the Korean Food and Drug Safety Agency for their five major effects, underscores the importance of quality and authenticity in ginseng products. Korean Red Ginseng is renowned for its purported health benefits, including improved cognitive function, enhanced immunity, and increased energy levels.Clinical trials evaluating the efficacy and safety of Korean Red Ginseng at different dosages and formulations would provide valuable guidance for consumers seeking to maximise its benefits.Again due to being a Traditional medicine there is no established "safe" or "recommended" dosage. Various studies range from 200mg to 4000mg for example. However, what is confirmed that a clinical trial published in on PubMed evaluated the efficacy of ginseng supplementation in improving cognitive function in older adults. The randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial found that ginseng supplementation was associated with significant improvements in cognitive performance, including memory and attention, compared to placebo. Unfortunately, dosage was not disclosed in this particular study. Its safe to say there will benefits taking Ginseng but I don't believe there is any real evidence that this Red Korean 6 year old Ginseng product will out perform a much cheaper Ginseng product. Therefore I cannot recommend this product purely due to the high cost as it will be significantly draining on your bank account in the long run.

I have to say, I've done little more than taste this on the tip of a spoon
I have to say, I've done little more than taste this on the tip of a spoon. It's hard to say more, as I haven't really used it, as I'm pretty scared of it. I didn't quite realise what I was getting. Basically, it's a big pot of ginseng in a Marmite like paste. It comes with warnings on how to take it and how not to take it, and it comes with a tiny measuring spoon, which looked cute in the pictures, but comes in two parts, which don't fit well together, so it looks a bit weak and wonky. What to say? It tasted worse than Marmite. I absolutely couldn't drink even a tiny cup of a drink made from this. I'm sorry, I just can't recommend it, I think there are better forms of this type of ginseng available at better prices than this. Proceed with caution, unless you know and love this stuff already.Note: I am a regular ginseng user, taking it for periods, then breaking for periods, but I usually take the capsules.

Very expensive
This red ginseng extract balance is plant-based and strictly selects red ginseng raw materials. What I like about this product is its unique combination of ingredients. The addition of propolis and liquorice adds depth and complexity to the flavour of the red ginseng extract, making it more palatable and enjoyable to consume. This makes it easier to incorporate into my daily routine as a dietary supplement. However, one potential downside is the taste. While the addition of propolis and liquorice improves the overall flavour, some may still find the taste of red ginseng extract to be strong or bitter. This could be a deterrent for individuals who are sensitive to strong flavours or have specific taste preferences. In summary, this red ginseng extract balance product offers a unique blend of ingredients that enhance the taste and quality of the extract. However as priced it really isn't good value for money.
