Just received this. Very quiet. SO much better than my previous, noisy fan. Not only quiet, but powerful. To be honest, I wasn't expecting that.What I really like is that it doesn't just spread the air around close to the face of the fan. It has a very direct air stream that moves the air quite far forward. That's exactly what I wanted.I'm really impressed with this little fan.The only drawback is that it doesn't have a lip or handle to pick it up with. You have to use both hands and grab it around the middle or the base to move it, but it's not the end of the world.I will update later as to whether it develops any leaks, as one purchaser noted.

It is barely audible, yet emits a strong flow of air. Position 1 is quieter than background noise, and position2 can just about be heard while emitting a good blast from say 1 metre away. Hearing sensitivity is individual, but in general one would say this is an extremely quiet fan. I also like the single knob for selecting speed (with or without oscillation also selected by the same knob): there are thus no beeps, which would be annoying in the bedroom, for example. The fan also looks good and is a compact design to fit in most places.

I needed a quiet fan for my bedroom and after returning the Honeywell noisy fan I got this one. It ticks all the boxes, affordable, quiet, decent bedroom air circulation, oscillation, compact size. The switch position is better than Honeywell too. If I could suggest improvement I would say add ability to downward tilt.

Good basic fan/air circulator - and is quiet and small. No remote or timer. 6 settings - 3 speeds. And then 3 speeds with oscillation. No annoying beep noises!! Hardly any hum sound from the motor and very little noise from the blades. The high setting is high enough but a little noisier obviously (some fans seem to have high speeds that sound like jet engines that I can’t ever see anyone actually using!) Has uk plug and lead is 1.5m. You can adjust the tilt and it will blow below horizontal if you wanted it to blow downwards (on a high chest of drawers blowing down to a bed for example). The top of the base does get rather hot after an extended time oscilating (even on lowest setting) which is slightly concerning. Otherwise no complaints.

After trying others, am happy I found this very quiet fan. It has enough power to be felt across the room as well as on level 1 on my deck.

Absolutely love this, it is so quiet I have to check it’s actually on, it’s also powerful on full but small enough for any room.If the noise of fans drive you crazy would definitely recommend this one.

This Acoolir fan is so quiet even on highest setting it oscillates and can be tilted up or down to adjust air flow absolutely delighted with this fan just perfect to keep my stroke disabled husband cool in this hot weather without the noisy whirring of blades most of these type of fans have it`s so quiet it doesn`t even disturb his naps , and the bonus ! it easily comes apart for cleaning the blades etc , just love it and would definitely recommend this fan
