This is a great eating tray with extendable legs. Given the price point of $26.98 at the time of this review, I feel like the price is a little high. But that's just a subjective opinion, so others may view this as a great value. Overall, form and function has been good. We have grand kids, and when they are over, this tray is great for putting snacks on, such as apples and peanut butter or other snacks, and they can use the tray sitting on the floor. My wife also uses it occasionally when we don't feel like sitting at the dining table. She'll extend the legs part way and sit it over her lap on the couch. And though we're both not the type to eat breakfast in bed, this would be good for people who do.It is a bit on the thin side, but to me normal plates and food shouldn't affect it at all. The tray is made of bamboo, but I don't know how durable bamboo is compared to other materials. My only concern is the plastic tension knobs when you extend the legs. They don't feel very durable, but I also have no reason to believe they won't hold up. Just an observation on my part. I like that the legs fold up and it's easy to store in a cabinet under the counter, and not take up too much space. We really do like it and probably will get a second one. Overall, very happy and definitely recommend. Just don't use it as a step stool and it should hold up fine.

We actually got this so in the mornings when we are getting ready our 6 y/o could eat breakfast by us while we are getting ready for work, instead of having to sit alone eating breakfast out in the kitchen. we unfold this and she sits on the floor and eats her breakfast while my wife and I get ready (brush teeth, she does makeup and hair.) one of the features i like with this one is the legs are adjustable height so we can make it tall enough that she can sit legs crossed at it and it puts it high enough to do so comfortably. I have also set up in my bed to do work on my laptop in the evenings when kids are in bed, although the lip that goes around it can make it a bit hard to typed at for long periods of time because it hits at my wrist. overall it is pretty light and functional. my only complaint is the trays bottom feels pretty thin, so it can hold very much weight, but its not meant for much of the, i just think it could be a little more sturdy. overall it works well for what we need.

Or paper work in bed. It had an adjustable height, but the tray is smaller than anticipated. It can fit a 1 large plate at a time with no other dishes.
