well made, fits nice and snug, keeps your lighter from getting soaked and protects the gas button from accidental presses while in your pack. Seems to be well designed. I tossed a lighter in the sink to try it out and it stayed dry under the top. I'm not sure how well this would work if you're using the lighter every day multiple times per day to light up, but if you're using it for camping and hiking I think it'll do the job.

Easy to install and works as designed.

Decent (Bic) lighter cover, but a little tricky to keep in position. The bottom piece sometimes tends to slide down, preventing the top piece from easily opening.

I found it easy to get on. I just went from the top of the lighter and then used the lid to push down the first piece. I did find it somewhat difficult to get the lid back off. Which makes sense for a waterproof item there has to be a really tight seal. If you bought it to keep on a boat, use hiking or to put in your emergency bag, it’s great. If you are a smoker and going to be using the lighter frequently, I would suggest buying something a little less waterproof.

For the price I paid these are wonderful. I actually like these better than the popular expensive waterproof lighter holders that many love. I wrap the bottom with duct tape over top a little Paracord loop, making a grab tab or lanyard tab. This little modification makes your lighter in to a valuable multi use piece of kit.

This is my first time buying a device that protects my lighter. I recently bought some silicone sleeves for my spare 18650 batteries and wanted something similar for my spare lighters.I was very reluctant to buy something like this. Although I can understand how it works, I was reluctant because, well, sometimes looks can be deceiving when buying online. My primary concern was wall thickness - I did not want the device to be so thin that it would eventually tear, rip, or fall apart. I have discovered that wall thickness is good, and I’m no longer concerned about its longevity/durability. When I first got it, I had a little difficulty with getting it on/off my lighter because I wasn’t used to it. It only took a day or two for me to get used to it and I’m able to operate very easily and conveniently.It’s lightweight, durable, and unobtrusive in the pants pocket. Since I wear shorts a lot, this makes a big difference for me. I like the black color. If they had other colors, I would still choose black.For me, it would be nice if it had a built-in tether between the upper cap and the lower body, so the cap isn’t accidentally lost. My second floor apartment has a balcony, and I accidentally drop the cap, which means I had to go downstairs and ask the person who lives there if they could find my very small, black, rubber cap to my lighter because it fell into their stuff on the patio. It took a few days, but a knock at my brought home the cap.When I get more, I’ll use them for my hiking and BOB packs.
