Great value
I have used this on a couple of cars. Works great but some cars will not supply the data you want. Still great value if doesn't.

Worked fine for 5 months.
Worked fine for the first five months, now it just gets hot when I plug it in, and has stopped working.

It actually worked
I have an 2018 Dacia Sandero. I had an error code appear and a local garage could not find anything wrong....save they could not reset the service warning. Another light appeared, so I got on YouTube and this was the tyre pressure warning. Another video showed how to clear the 'fault' I had.....which was the service reminder.....so I bought this device, downloaded and app and the service reminder has been cleared. Don't worry its had a service.Highly Recommended and easy to use. I ran a diagnostic with on of the apps recommended and no faults, but to clear I had to download an app called service reset

Not impressed
Well Amazon delivered on time which was great, opened the KitBest OBDII scanner and..........It won't connect, I've tried 2 different phones, (Google Pixel 6 and a Samsung S20) and tried my Chromebook, all of them found the scanner via Bluetooth but it won't connect, defo wouldn't recommend this product

Works well with the right app.
I bought this to make checking ECU codes easier, I had to try a few different apps before I found one that suited the purpose, and would connect easily, but I would recommend this as a cheap OBD2 reader.

Mine was faulty out of the box - large solder blobs
Mine had a large blob of solder shorting out a bunch of pins and multiple pads without solder.I hate waste, so i fixed it myself and it works perfectly. but QA seems to be lacking. any simple inspection would have picked this up, the unit was rattling!!

Bluetooth ODM Reader
Have had a few ODB readers over the years and was interested to see what a Bluetooth/App version would be like.Item arrived well package. It is cheap, small and unobtrusive, so I guess (depending on where ODB port is) you coukd leave it plugged in. Else it was a tight fit in my Merc, so a little effort was required to remove.There is a choice of apps which are 'free', but in free mode have limited use, which is annoying. I installed and uninstalled several before settling on CarScanner.The app hung a bit and took several attempts to get what I wanted out of it, but I was able to read and erase codes. A nice feature is you can screenshot the app to record or share info.I checked results using my normal ODB plug in reader. Time spent @25-30mins for first use. The additional cost '£4.09 forever' isn't a lot, but would be better bundled in with device IMHO - I like to use out of box.Verdict, suitable for the DIYer who likes to do everything on their phone. Most likely will misplace or break.. as small plastic device.My preference is my wired reader, which was a little more expensive, but works straight out of the box - unpack, plug in, turn key and away you go.. 2-3 minutes average use time...Just my opinion.
