MagiGLIDE CASTOR CUP 4 PACK. The ULTIMATE glider for furniture on castors with complete floor protection, endorsed by Karndean Designflooring

After initially damaging our new hard flooring when moving the piano just on its casters, I decided to purchase these rather than forking out for any of the more expensive options for moving pianos between rooms. They did the job perfectly. The piano was still heavy to lift into the cups, and heavy to slide across the floor, but two people were able to slide it relatively easily, and there was no damage at all to our new floor. Brilliant buy.

We have 2 la-z-y-boy sofas which my wife and I find almost impossible to move across the carpet. I bought and tried another similar product which failed dismally and whilst these cups are very expensive I tried them as we really needed to find a solution to moving the sofas as our room layout depends on being able to swing one of them around. I bought 2 sets and used 8 of them on one sofa as it has 8 feet which dig into the carpet. Once fitted I crossed my fingers and gave the sofa a shove and hey presto I was able to turn it around with ease on my own. My wife loves them. I liked this product so much I immediately ordered 2 further sets for the second sofa. Expensive but boy they were worth it !

This is an excellent product and I have bought quite a few of them over the last few years. They are a great way of making it easy to move a sofa or heavy chair. I have used different ones on a washing machine and it glides in and out from under the worktop with ease. My only negative issue is that I consider them to be to expensive hence the 4 star rating.

I wondered whether I was being a bit stupid paying thirty pounds for 8 of these castor cups, when I could have got basic plastic ones for a tenth of the price. But as soon as I opened the packet, I knew I'd done the right thing. The cups are made from a substantial, flexible, rubbery material and give slightly when the the furniture legs are placed in them, which makes for a far more secure fit than could ever be had with a rigid cup. The flat underside of these cups is very smooth and slippery, so now my sofa and chair (which have tapered wooden legs, not castors) are easy to slide around on the new carpet - and, of course, the cups also prevent deep indents from appearing in the carpet. I will definitely be buying more of these!

I do like the Magiglide range of products. I have Karndean flooring throughout my house and find the various glides very effective. Unfortunately these castor cup glides are not suitable. I wish a bigger size was available. I ordered 2 packs as I have 5 legs on my office swivel chair in my study. The castors are larger than those on other pieces of furniture. They will not fit into these castor cups. - A real pity as they would be ideal for the job & in my case an expensive mistake at £35.In years past I have purchased much smaller flat self adhesive magiglides on a sheet (or something that appears identical). These do not seem to be available now despite being very useful under smaller pieces of furniture.

Used on Sofa and Dining Chairs, only wish we’d got them years ago! Bit pricey but they really do a good job, so worth it!

Expensive and the furniture castors jump out of the product when the furniture is being moved.Looks a good idea but didn’t work for me.

We now have magiglides under pretty much every piece of furniture in the house. They're fantastic. So I thought perhaps I should buy some for my office chair (used on thick carpet). But I should have paid more attention to the description. I needed five, there is 4 in the pack! I needed big ones, these are for small castors. Oh, well, we're now using it under the washing machine!!!Magiglides are a bit pricey, but they are a must have if you're looking for decent glides. Highly recommended.p.s. I'm no fan of tacky and "American style" obnoxious TV commercials (think QVC). But this really is as fantastic as it claims to be in their YouTube video.
