This is a really good quality product and does exactly what it says and value for money the polishing pads as I called them are really good for buffing up the polish on your vehicle do not leave swirls on your paintwork quality product

I bought these as the favourable reviews seemed to have been written by folks who knew what they were doing. I have a lot of wooden furniture we purchased about 50 years ago and after daily use, two children and numerous dogs were showing signs of their age, scratches, stains and watermarks etc. After trying various products, I can now resolve the wear and tear, but a final cost of hard waxing was requiring more effort in final polishing than I could cope with. These have resolved that problem and I can get a final finish in a sensible time with considerable less effort. The pads stay firmly attached to the backing disk and while the mandrel came unscrewed the first time I down it up as often happens it responded to normal treatment and has stayed out ever since. If you allow it to repeatedly unscrew it will get nearly impossible to fix without loctite. For this particular project I am delighted with them.

Edges of disc to mount buffer on was a a bit rough, had to file off the rough edges down slightly however the section that fits into the drill chuck needs to be serrated to be able to keep in chuck, did try it in reverse but it came undone which is logical.

These do the job but they are very cheap. I would recommend using the backing plate to fit into the drill but I think you would be taking your life in your hands if you used the wool.I wouldn’t put them anywhere near paintwork
