Welp, it seems to work OK but time will tell.
The monitor goes to sleep and wakes up when it detects the slightest shock (opening a door for example) but I'm not sure if the sensors actually go to sleep. I bought the unit for that reason so as to prolong battery life. Will report back after I get some more miles on the thing. Otherwise it seems to be working and is easy to program. Wish it had six sensors without having to spend twice the money.Update: the sensors do sleep, leaving the last transmitted data on the display until they awaken again once the vehicle begins moving.Update 2: Moved the system to my 5th wheel. Still working great.

Yokaro Solar Powered Tire Pressure Monitoring System(TPMS) - 4 External Sensors
I purchased the Yokaro Solar Powered Tire Pressure Monitoring System(TPMS) - 4 External Sensors. Initially I had a few issues that were quickly addressed by customer support! The monitor and display is very nice, the readings are easy to see and differentiate the tire pressure from the tire temperature. The solar charging worked well after the initial charge using the included cable.I compared the tire pressure reading of the TPMS against the tire pressure display of my GMC Canyon pickup, they were basically identical considering the accuracy of both systems is one degree. Please be aware of the system details stating "Sensors signal covers about 8 M (26 ft), Beyond 10 M (33 ft), there’s no signal". When I tried to use the system on my 20' travel trailer along with my GMC Canyon, the distance from the sensors to the monitor was 28', resulting in limited success of the system. When you use the system within the documented specs, it is a nice system for the cost.

lousy instructions
I rarely read installation instructions because they're horribly written, but these are horrible because they omit the small number of details you actually need to make this thing work. This is a shame because the device itself is brilliant. To install this thing on a motorcycle:First, charge the display unit via the USB charging cable. Mine was dead in the box but charged very quickly (less than 1 hour)The little rubber thingy in the handlebar clamp appears to be for use on 7/8" bars. I have tapered bars and the clamp woudn't close over the 1 1/8" section with the rubber thing, but I wound up mounting it on the skinny part of my bars and did need the rubber thing. The manual says nothing about it, but on each of the two pressure senders is a faintly embossed letter, F or R for the front and read wheel respectively. It's easy to miss.I put the senders on before I turned on the display, and they continued to read zero until, after discovering I'd put them on the wrong wheels, I took them off and then put them back on again with the display turned on, at which point the system began working. I think maybe the right order of operations is to turn on the display first (by holding the set button for a few seconds) and then screwing on the front and rear senders. After doing it that way, everything is happy. The pressures read about 1PSI lower than my Viair 00042 inflation gun, I have no idea which one is more accurate, but they're close

TPMS is great safety add-on. Worth it!
Installed on my big Yamaha. Love the TPMS. Don't leave home without one. Instructions for this unit are the pits, all very clear but the unit does not work that way. With a lot of trial and error, long button presses, short button presses, and pressing one button multiple times, I got it to read in Fahrenheit and PSI, and set the alarm limits to numbers that work for me. Took a while though, with some hints from the instructions. Display is washed out in strong sunlight, but it can be read if seen from the correct angle. Good light level on the display at night. Acceptable display in daylight, but shade is better. I will build a surround for the display, to make things more visible on the screen. If there is a way to have separate (different) alarm levels for the front and rear tires, I did not find out how. Once the TPMS is set up as you want it, however, it is worth *every* penny. Normally, you add air pressure to cold tires only, because when you ride, the temperatures and pressures do increase. Once I found out how much they change, I can add some air on the road, but temperature and pressure may not be exactly right when riding then. Audible alarm is about useless, you probably will not hear it on the road, but the display alarm is good. A much louder alarm sound and a brighter display would be great, but this thing works, and I would not want to ride without one now.

Amazingly useful and simple to install, this should be on every motorcycle
Awesome product, I just wish I had known about it sooner. Super simple to use, very accurate and totally maintenance free (beyond a yearly battery change). I can't say enough good things about this and recommend it to everyone who rides. It is so nice being able to glance down and see my tire pressure, and it is interesting to see how my riding, the weather, and the roads all affect the temperature and pressure. It has alerts to let you know when pressures are outside of a zone you define, so on the chance that you pick up a nail or something, you'll get an audible and visual alert letting you know your pressure is dropping into an unsafe zone. Really this should be factory on all bikes, but until it is, do yourself a favor and pick one of these up.

Ignore the bad reviews. This rocks!
I don’t understand all of the bad reviews about instructions, or not being able to turn it off. It’s like I’m surrounded by morons! It literally took me 5 minutes to mount, and set the whole thing up. I found it to be extremely accurate and sensitive. Very impressed! I used it on my fat tire bike. And in regards to all of idiots who don’t know how to turn it off, you simply press the lower button (with the triangle on it) for six seconds. You do the same thing to turn it on.But you don’t have to turn it off manually, because if you wait, and have a little patience, it DOES INDEED turn itself off. And when you move the bike, it does turn itself back on automatically! It works perfectly! It’s highly accurate! I highly recommend this product! It’s not rocket science folks!
