Great eco credIts a toothbrush!It cleans your teeth!Medium bristles are a bit stiff to start with but the bristles do ease off after a day or two. The heads last a long time before they need replacing.Only a tiny bit of plastic goes to land fill when you change your head.I've had mine (the handle at least, for about 7 years now and still using it. One suggestion is to get a couple of packs of heads each time you buy them and you nearly never have two worry about buying a toothbrush again.Then again who worries about buying a toothbrush?
