Well worth the money
I needed a dryer rack that would look nice and store away close to the wall, this was perfect. It’s solid, good quality and fit perfectly. Holds the weight and folds up nicely. I use it in my garage to dry throw rugs, overalls. It seemed pricey but wanted something durable so I bought thinking if it’s not durable I will send it back when it arrived I was surprised installed it that day and love it. Husband immediately threw out my old wore out wooden standup one and said “I would have paid 3 times more to get rid of that old wooden trip hazard, that your continue to fuss about”.The install for him was easy but for some the screws going into the wall might be a little tricky but he used an angle power tool attachment on his screw gun that popped them in, I believe all of these hanging wall units might be the same installation so I’m still giving it a 5 star, I don’t see that you need to hire a professional to install it, just find your studs in the wall and you will be fine.

A few minor install issues, but great once set up!
Mine lined up with the studs, so I didn't use any of the included hardware, instead using 4 long pan-head screws I've been saving since the Clinton administration for just such a situation. I agree the template isn't very accurate; what I would suggest is you start with just one mounting hole & screw for the upper left or right; with the rack hanging from that one screw, swing it to horizontal and use the actual bracket hole on the other side to mark where you'll drill next. (All this assumes you've done the research as to what's behind the wall in each place to mount to). Also, be wary of the wall-backet edges - I found them to be very sharp, so took off the sharpness with a fine file & sandpaper. Same for the slots in them used for the opening & closing mechanism, plus you could rub a little wax in each so the initial few openings and closings don't feel so rough. The rack itself is nice-looking and sturdy, and I really enjoy the convenience of pulling it out as much as I need to easily hang stuff, then pushing it in to get it out of the way as much as possible while still leaving space for drying. Much better than the old swaying, clunky clothes rack I had been patching up for too long!UPDATE 2 & 1/2 years later, still looks and works great with almost daily use in the laundry room. (for stuff that doesn't go in the dryer (plus - sometimes - extra, dry clothes piled on top from the dryer to free that up)). Did just slightly tighten a few screws, but can't complain about that kind of low maintenance.

smooth function, looks great, odd mounting style
This rack does everything it needs to do. I was concerned that the folding action would bind and require a delicate touch with every use but that hasn't been the case; it expands and retracts easily with minimum effort. -1 one star for the mounting style. Using the provided toggle bolts requires drilling 4 (relatively large) 5/8 inch holes in the wall. Once mounted and placed properly the holes will be covered but I'd have preferred an easier option to simply mount this directly to a wall stud. The mount locations are spaced such that it will not line up with a standard wall stud on both ends. In addition, the rack gets in the way of tightening the upper mounting screws so that requires a little finesse, not a big deal but seems like a design oversight. It seems secure despite this, but I'm hesitant to load it up to the rated capacity of 61 lbs (~28 kg) with it only being anchored to sheetrock/drywall.
