The most obvious advantage of this camera is perfect cost-effective. This is my second security camera. My first one is Ring which cost me over $100 when on sale. This cute camera has all the functions I need: instant image and monitor, alert for motion event and notify. Since I haven't ordered the cloud service and didn't insert storage card, I can't see the history records, but I can see several past alert videos on my phone. The quality of video is pretty good. Just one thing, this camera is wired, not battery, so when you use outdoor, remember to find an apt place with outlet. Good thing is the wire is long enough and you don't need take it down and change battery. I plan to use it indoor to watch my cats in my kitchen.

Really like being able to see outside the home and remotely as well. Great product.

Worked out for the money

Septekon processed a refund for the cameras in this review. In my mind I consider them an ethical vendor. Beware. This camera is intended only for IPhone or Android Phone nterface only. There is no FTP capability with these cameras. They include an Ethernet cable interface but cannot interface with a remote computer wirelessly or via the cable, even though the router recognizes the camera via the Ethernet cable and does not publish an IP address. A very good product if intened use is only with a cell phone as an interface. Not FTP compatible.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered this camera, set it up and it worked great for two days. I reached out to the company and they replaced the camera at no charge grateful for the new camera. I placed it outside for security purposes and once again this camera no longer health connection and when it connect to Wi-Fi and malfunction, no matter how many times I reset it or try to connect and no thanks to this camera this beautiful security system I don’t have any evidence or pictures of the person who stole my car, and now I am without a car as a single mother who needed security I was let down by the company save your time.

I just received my second Septekon outdoor camera and have plans to purchase at least 2 more. It's a excellent camera for the money. I have a additional set of outdoor camera's that I paid in the hundreds for and this one is by far the better of the two. The other set is not the same name brand of course. However, if I was choosing between the two Skeptekon would win by a landslide. The picture quality and night vision are excellent and one of it's major plus's with me was the fact that the speaker and microphone are still working unlike my complete other set. It's a great deal.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for eyes in front and behind. Very easy to install and works like a charm. Extremely clear pictures and videos and the app is very user friendly. Have had 2 other brands of cameras, this is the 3rd and doesn’t look like there is need for a 4th. You can’t beat the price either. Very satisfied.
