Great book
Full of facts and details many of us weren't aware of.

Faithful Volunteers
This book reads more like a text book than I expected. I guess I was looking for a lot of story telling, but it's more like researched facts. However, that said, it is still some very interesting stuff - like the descriptions of how the Indians, native to the area, believed and the lifestyle they led based on those beliefs. I also loved the part about there being evidences in the region that there were European settlers long before Columbus sailed the ocean blue. History is so cool to explore and even more so because this book doesn't leave out the all important Christian perspective. It'll be a keeper on my bookshelf. And I'm not even from Tennessee. I wish someone would write this kind of book about Michigan.
